The global shipping program has honestly ruined Ebay. I buy extremely few items from there these days.

As usual, it only truly benefits the US.

Yeah it really sucks. I cheked out some kraata on feebay and the three slugs without the container(like a 50gram package) and the shipping here was 32€ and some cents on top while the product it self was slightly under 3e... effing assholes who use it id rather see the trouble and ask the seller to calculate the shipping here cause the ebay prices are insane...

But yeah shipping isnt free i get that. Checked the shipping on a under 500g package to us and thats 22e right there. Last time i shipped on Jan it was 14e for almost same size package. The only thing changed was that earlier you had choices by the weight of the letter 200g, 300g,400g and 500g. Now only choices were 250g and 500g wich might have caused the raise of prices. Both times package weighted around 350g but this time it went to the higher cost class.

The global shipping program has honestly ruined Ebay.

I think most sellers are focused on selling domestically and intl shipping is an afterthought. The best option is just to set shipping to worldwide calculated, but then you have to make sure the weight is correct when posting. Ultimately it comes down to overlooking it or not caring. I didn't pay attention to it until I had a canadian buyer freak out on me and send me a huge long moral lesson because the GSP was estimated $30 to send a single LEGO figure. After that I just make sure it's unchecked when I post something, which is annoying because it defaults to GSP every single effing time you post an auction,  despite what your selling template is set to for shipping. That's what I hate the most about it.
