Have had these two since sometime in the early to mid '80's. I believe there was a third robot that went with them, but was taller. The orange one had hands and legs but I can remember twisting them off... No markings on them that I can see. Not sure if they had more friends out there or were just some cool brightly colored robots.

Thanks!

The one on the right looks like a painted version of a Rogun robot.

That's cool. Were the other ones only ever a single color? I think these came from a Shoe Carnival store of all places. I remember that is where all of my knock off GoBots came from.

All the Rogun robots I've ever seen have been monochromatic black, blue, or red and made of hard plastic (photo attached). That's definitely one of the Rogun sculpts. Hopefully someone else has more info on where yours came from.

Very cool! Thanks for the help! Were they hard plastic like an army guy? This guy is kinda soft and bendy.

Yeah, I'd say Roguns fall in the hard army guy plastic category. So the plot thickens...

Here's another fun line, Marty's Bend-a-Bots!

(Plus, there's a guy named 'BONG'.)
