meh. Maybe it's just me, but I just can't seem to get excited about the standard action figure style kinnikuman merchandise...

The new issue of ToyFare has a short story on this. They said that Kinnikuman figures would definitely be released, and the only picture they showed was a picture of that Kinnikuman. Anyway, they said that the figures would be in stores now, but I don't think that's realistic since none of us have seen anything yet.

I think that the Mantaro and Kinnikuman figures are cool. The other ones suck, though. Why is there such limited articulation on them, while the Kinniku guys get loads?

they look like crap to me, nothing compared to the romando kinnikuman figures that are at now. plus im with you guys, id rather they released some figures like we are used to, small and pink (colored too).

Anytime somebody needs you, don't let them down, although it grieves you, Some day you'll need someone like they do, looking for what you knew - LZ

Those are gay, I have to say I am kind of partial to little pink or multi colored plastic wrestlers myself. I like the Romandoh much better and think I am going to start collecting those. What happened to the litle pink K2 guys that someone posted about before, any word on them, those are cool. I htink Johnny has a link, I do not :stupid:

I think these new figures are MUCH better than the Romandohs because they look more like the characters they're intended to represent. Romandohs have a strange bubbly-muscled, harsh-faced style that often doesn't work well, in my opinion (for example, I've never really liked the Romandoh Kinnikuman, and the Sunigator doesn't look very good at all). The articulation on the two new Kinnikumans is much better than Romandohs, too... but the lack of articulation of the other new figures greatly bothers me.

I think they are G.I. Joe size. about 3-4"

Better then nothing. I would preffer romandoh figures though.

NEW muscle toys.
A little now and hopefully more later.

Um... I'm not sure... I don't think so. I don't remember seeing Fakor in it. I think it had a reissue of the classic Snake Eyes and Scarlett as the exclusive figures.

Yeah, does anyone know anything about the new pink kinnikuman. They are so cool looking. Honestly id rather go back to the original Muscle Men roots then have any of these new G.I. Joe like ones, just my opinion though. But I mean hey, Any muscle toy is better then nothing.... A year ago who would have thought there was any idea for a new toy line of muscle let alone a show!!!!!!!! I guess we just have to be greatful.

Yeah, does anyone know anything about the new pink kinnikuman.

Nope, We saw the pics of them some months ago, but nothing since. I haven't even seen them show up on Yahoo Japan either. Maybe they aren't released yet. Hmm.
My preference would be for pinks first and romandoh like guys second. The joe sized ones don't realy spark my fancy either.
