Bootleg Toxic Crusaders Figures + Merman

Best Answer BaltanII , 09 March 2023 - 05:47 AM

The merman is actually Merdude from TMNT. Thought these would be Yolanda minifigures from Spain but neither Killemoff nor Headbanger in the Yolanda line look like this…

EDIT: These were previously identified here after all! http://fantasytoysol...onster.html?m=1 Go to the full post

Hi these are obvoiusly Headbanger and Dr. Killemoff from Toxic Crusaders but does anyone know where they came from, they are hard plastic, no markings and are about 60mm (2 1/2inch) tall. Unfortunately Dr. Killemoff is missing bits of his hands and Headbanger is pretty poor quality. Also found this merman in the same box of toys.

Brilliant, thanks Baltanall, good sleuthing. Weird set of figures to choose to bootleg for a "Ghost Monster" set, I'm just glad they are "Realistic" "Non-Toxic" and "Authentic"

I have often gotten hard plastic versions of M.U.S.C.L.E.- type guys out of gumball machines. They are bootleg & sometimes malformed or "melty" looking. For example, I got mini Godzilla figures, Saint Seiya and Kinnikuman. In the US I have only seen them in gumball machines (25 cent plastic balls), not for sale on toy shelves or anything.
