Quick question, maybe i missed it in browsing this thread, but am i going to have to deal with a ton of overlap if i pick up both 4 and 2-packs?

That's kinda what we've been discussing exclusively. No overlap whatsoever, aside from the Final Evolution figures in the two-packs.

Yeah, by "browsing" i meant "posting in and not really reading". :ermm:

That's awesome though, i'm so glad to hear it. As long as these guys stick around a while, Hasbro can eat me...i've got a new minifigure line to buy.

Gormiti fanart will be forthcoming.

My Target(s) finally got their toy aisles organized and broke out the 4-packs and starters! I, too, had been holding out buying more two-packs until I saw how the 4's were distributed. I am thrilled that there is no crossover. I picked up three 4's.

The sea and forest tribes are definately my favorites. I have held off getting (non-Final Evolution) air figs because they seem to have the worst paint aps! On most I have seen the white is very unevenly applied, and the yellow goes on way to thin, with the base green really showing through. I have seen few non-air figs I had problems with (other than the occasional one with warped legs).

Got paid. Went to Target. Bought more Gormiti.

So many days are showing this same pattern lately.

I've got all the 4-packs now, i think. I've got all the Chiefs or whatever except the one that comes in the starter, so that means all the 4-packs, right? Also several of the 2-packs.

I just cannot bring myself to buy that Starter set. I'm sure the DVD and comic are both horrible (even if they aren't i'm not sure i want to know any backstory for this line other than the cards), which leaves me with trying to convince myself that 5 figures are worth $20 when the 4 packs only cost $10.

What tribe Leader are you after Scummy? I have these ones for trade, if it saves you having to get the starter pack and endure the carcrash of a DVD, just give us a shout.

Well, I got the starter. The included DVD is one of the most unintentionally funniest things I've seen in a while. It embarrasses everybody by existing. Why not just dub the Italian cartoon and make money that way? the name pronunciations are funny. I would have thought that Lavion, since his name is based on Lava, would be pronounced like it. "a" as in "Mall," not "pat." It's Pat. Also, Gheos, being based on Geo, should be Gee-o, not Gay-o.

yes, the Lord of the Earth is named Gay-os.

But anyway, the comic is also poorly-written and confusing. If you don't read the website story, you would think that everything ended and the bad guys won.

But the figures are cool. Why did they include five out of seven? This gives you no reason to buy a second starter, but you can't complete the set! Either do seven out of seven, or four out of seven (with Lavion overlapping).

Also, forest dude has some serious manboobs.

cross your fingers that we'll eventually see the later series like final evolution, the cartoon series and the new one coming up elemental fusion here in the states.

Well, the US 2-packs each come with one final evolution figure, minus the colour-changing or GITD effects. Speaking of these, does anyone here have any of the People of the Earth Final Evolution figures from the US packs? According to this thread, there should be three: mole, steelback and earthshaker. However, I haven't seen any of these packs, nor did I see any in LethalWhip's photo thread..

None (yet). Lava figures only come in the starters, not the two-packs.

Of course, the actual Final Evolution Part II figures had all of Energheia represented. It's only in the US that only three members from each tribe (except Lava) got the FE colors.

There's three; fiery hammer, spider & guardian. I have the Final Evolution version of fiery hammer, and he's awesome! I love the translucent red plastic - it looks great. I especially like to set him over one of the LEDs on my DJ mixer - it makes him glow quite nicely :)
