I just happened upon this auction, only to realize that I used to have the little red demon guys. I remember there was a guy with an axe (pictured), the ball and chain (pictured), and I think there was one with a sword (not pictured). Any info will help, thank you!

I'm not sure, but I know I didn't have any Dragon Riders of the Styx as a child.are they from that dragon riders of the styx set?

They might be from BMC's Battle of Yorktown set, but I am not positive.
