Hi i am not a muscle collector but i have some figures and i like them, but what i have come here for is i am trying to identify 2 figures i have that are odd!
Im not sure if they are prototypes? i have gone through the lists at soupies and i can only even find 1 of them number (84).
The odd thing is they are both in a colour not in the spectrum, they are much paler than flesh or salmon, like a strange neon cream, and the other odd thing is neither have any markings at all like the Y/S NT.
Does anybody know?
Hopefully there is a picture attached.

Thank you!

...And here is what they look like compared to the other colours.
They are completley authentic, i bought them a long time ago.
Actually the plastic is much shinyer too, im definately sure their not faded.

Those appear to be bootleg M.U.S.C.L.E.s
Often they were found in gumball machines across the USA, and sometimes even sold in packages as a separate toy line.

They are #084 and #096, respectively.
Snakeman and the Ninja.

Personally, I am a big fan of Kin/M.U.S.C.L.E. bootlegs.
Here is a pic of a couple of Ninja bootlegs standing next to a M.U.S.C.L.E. Ninja:

And bootlegs were found everywhere in the world. It is interesting to see what ones turn up and where.
Do you remember where yours originated from?

Oh yeah! Its the same colour as the one on the left. Now I found ninja 96. Thanks!
I got them in a box of toys from what we call a car boot sale with some other figures I will check.
When I was a kid the blocky figures scared me a bit especially if it had a star on the chest!?
But now I like them & I wish I had got some more.
As kids we diddn't always understand these sort of toys from Japanese tv shows because they never showed them or put them on tape.
They really used to confuse me! But I saw Kinnikuman the movie at veoh and I thought it was really good.
I wonder if they did all the figures in bootleg versions? I suppose they remolded them, unless they nicked the molds and took the letter stamps off inside?

Thanks for both your help.
