Personally, my favorites are Robin Mask and Warsman.

Coming up as close seconds are Ashuraman and Sunshine.

Buffaloman would probably be third.

Kinnikuman himself, and Neptune King are actually a ways down the list. Fifth or sixth place at the best.

I'm currently reading the Manga for the first time, and the character who surprised me the most is Terryman. I was not expecting to like him as much as I do.

Tile Man and Mammoth Man are big ones for me... but I'm not familiar with any of the Manga or Anime.  SO I don't have any context for them outside of the MUSCLE figures.

My favorite is Warsman, esp because #59 and #231 had the claw hand.  When I was a kid I would always use #126 Kenkaman as Hulk Hogan and Number #71 Neptuneman as Macho Man.

Well, they are based on real wrestlers. Neptuneman is based on Hogan.

Sunshine and ashuraman for me, with Kinnikuman, Buffaloman, and Neptuneman next. I love the take on Hogan. Least favoriate is probably Geronimo. I think his story kinda falls flat for me.

Knowing nothing of the manga/ anime I'm a fan of Sunshine and Iwao. Followed closely by Soldierman and Moaiman rounding out the top 4.

Edit: I may have posted this in the wrong thread...

Iwao had quite a large role to play in the early volumes of the story. Sunshine arrives fairly late in the narrative, but doesn't waste time becoming a very prominent villain.

I've been watched a good amount of the anime over the last year or so (at least, what's available with English subs). The juxtaposition of Kinnikuman's absolutely bumbling stupidity with how serious and stoic the rest of his fellow heroes are is what I always find to be truly the funniest comedy in the series. With that said, Terryman, Warsman, Ramenman, and Buffaloman in particular are the characters that put the biggest smiles on my face, especially when they get emotional and talk about their willingness to die for friendship. Warsman being a robot capable of crying just adds an extra layer of absurdity that's hard not to love.

BUT....if we're talking based exclusively on the figures... King Ton, Kinnikuman, PandaMan, Terryman with headband, Junkman, Ashuraman, Sawkillerman... Honestly, I could go on and on...

I love that you label Warsman being able to cry as absurd, on a show with a talking urinal who wears a turd hat! :)
