Uh huh.

I don't feel that the separation of eBay and PayPal is going to be that much of a big deal. It certainly doesn't compare to the ability buyers will have starting in November to file a Not as Described case on items bought with PayPal 180 days after purchase instead of 45. That will quite possibly mark the end of my time using PayPal, or at least as a seller.

Guess it's a good thing that the separation will leave open the possibility of accepting more payment services than just PayPal.

WTf - why does EBAY hate the sellers soooo much. They a being short changed again and again. If it's not crazy fees, it's a shitty feedback system, oh wait then there's paypal...

I mean seriously. There's protecting the buyers... But then they need to take care of the sellers too. BOTH make Ebay money.

And in regards to the whole not selling on Ebay... Behemoth, that's fine in theory but sometimes I don't feel like there a lol of options, yknow?

I guess I could try FB - but my circle of friends etc aren't as big of geeks as I am so I wouldn't exactly be selling to the right crowd.

On the previous subject, apparently paypal was one of the early partnerships in negotiating with Applepay.  But they went with Samsung, and Apple dropped them.  I thought it was interesting that it caused a rift between the prez of Ebay and prez of paypal and the prez of paypal actually left the company.

180 days to return for "not as described" is absurd. What circumstance could possibly warrant that much of a blanket coverage? I understand for things like car purchases or whatever, maybe, but retail stores even have a limit of 90 days. So wtf?
