Its not something very important here but I just noticed, looking into the Armadillo figure for a possible project, that this little fellow is probably one of the only BB in the line which has its body painted with details that are/were supposed to be on its armor.

All those tiny and colored details of the other beasts are ALL part of their armor and looking close at this issue it looks like here something might´ve gone during the sculpting process because you can clearly see the detail is sculpted as part of the skin area (middle/waist area on the sides ). So looks like something went wrong here.

I checked some other Armadillo´s to make sure its just not an exception but that doesn´t seem to be the case turning the Armadillo into a hipster Beast with it cool little body painted details ;)

Indeed - I painted him accordingly a few years ago whilst making a series of custom beasts ;) He's not the only one - a couple of other figures in the line have sculpts that suggest certain unpainted parts of them were intended to be armour.

Visit my dA gallery to see my latest fanart (it's mainly TransFormers and Doctor Who but there is a Battle Beast gallery on there!)...

Did you ever consider that maybe it's a female armadillo and that's the Beastformers version of a bikini?  :teehee:
