Hi,

My kids got a bunch of toys from a friend and this robot was in the lot:

Attached File  unknown robot.jpg   118.55K   21 downloads

Don't know where its from.

I think it should transform to some kind of vehicle but I'm not sure how to do it.

Thanks for any help,

Liron Hallak

I don't have a name for you right now, and if nobody else is able to help you I recommend using www.transformerland.com and their ID tool. It's fantastic and I can easily say I've ID'd many toys with it. (Both TFs and non-TFs)

Are there any markings on it? A company name?

Could you take a wider pic to get the whole robot?

Thank you

In addition: Does it transform? If it does, what's your best guess for what it turns into?

Looks too good to be a polyfect, probably from the "Transformers Animated" line

That's no Transformer, that much I know. Hard to make sense of whatever it does transform into though, getting a full body pic and at least showing the back of the figure if not transforming it out right could help.

Hi all,

Thanks for all your replies.

Draznar, I couldn't find it in www.transformerland.com.

For your questions:

BadLarry, no markings that I could find.

As for the wider pic, I took a picture with an A4 page in the background so you can see the size (it's pretty big)

Attached File  wider pic.jpg   88.56K   17 downloads

Here is one from the back

Attached File  from the back.jpg   119.54K   15 downloads

As for the transformation, I'm pretty sure it does transform but the best I could guess is this:

No, definitely not a Transformer. I don't think it's from any of the Brave lines either, though I'm not 100% sure.

Looks more like a Sentai robot to me. The alternate mode looks like it could be combined with some other similarly awkward animal mechs to form a giant pile of zords that flies around and crashes into rubber suit monsters.

Thank you

The way the alt-mode head so closely resembles a Zoids Liger - none of which I recall transforming into a humanoid robot - is having me lean towards it being a knockoff. Already ruled out TFs, no mainline Sentai or Power Ranger toy looks like this, and it's way too cheap to be a Biklonz or similar line. That it's clearly missing pieces doesn't help matters but I feel confident about that for a real start to IDing the thing.

In terms of "official" toylines I could almost see this thing being a (again, incomplete) Power Rangers toy of a gimmicky subline, the crap you never see in the actual show that used to warm shelves all the time, but the obvious cribbing from a competing robot toyline, the lack of obvious Bandai America markings, and the style not fitting obviously with one of the shows has me believing this is not the case.

All hope is lost.

benkobiman, I think you did it.

That looks almost exactly like it. Only some differences with the coloring.

Are the pictures in the link of a knock off or the real one?

i think yours is real and the one with copper colored feet in the pics is the ko version. the paint apps on yours are definitely cleaner than the ko one.

this looks like yours exactly but it is a bit blurry
