Are there any characters in the Gormiti line (specifically the People of the Volcano) that are supposed to represent more than 1 character (i.e. soldier figure)?
no, they all are individuals with their own charachestics as documented on their card.

This figure here reminds me of one of the "lava warriors" i recently saw. I was hoping that he was one of them.

Why does what the official fiction says mean that you can't buy and collect whatever and however you want? Beastformers are all individuals, yet people assemble massive armies of Sharks, Cobras, and Lions. There's only one Snigator, but people love multiple Claws and Tortles.
It doesnt. Being a moderate fan of " general infantry" type characters though i hope that the generic nameless Lava Warriors (my own generic name) receive their own official sculpt in a later cartoon series. You have to wonder what type of point value theyd assign a generic troop though . As it stands ill be picking up a few Incandesent Phantom's for just that purpose. They arent official but their close enough

That is indeed true, Boa. Transformers fans like Scourge and his Sweeps, so they collect multiple Scourges as Sweeps and although the Seacons are all seperate individuals, Masterforce fans collect multitudes of Seacons. Here's a picture of army builders from the Gormiti cartoon that I took while I was watching it on YouTube.Beastformers are all individuals, yet people assemble massive armies of Sharks, Cobras, and Lions. I guess characters like Fiery Hammer or Sparafuoco (what's the US name again?) could be used as "Army Builders."
Firespitter is the translated name.
Personally, i wouldnt mind a whole army of ......

Good eye mate
I believe those are the exact "lava warriors" i was speaking of although i havent seen that episode ( as i havent seen Profound Horror in action yet). They were in 1 of the 1st five episodes as well. Some of these Volcano characters are to impressive to just be run of the mill henchmen or lackeys (im looking at you profound horror). The need some troops

Firespitter, though drone-like in appearance, is too cool to be just a drone. The cartoon series has one episode with him as the main villain.

I guess you could paint incandescent phantasm purely red to make him into a generic lava warrior.

Mind reader
Either of those characters needs a tweaking to create the generic look but both are perfect candidates .
By all means you should bust out the clone army Veers. Completely Blow his little mind. I remember having a large amount of cobra blue shirts (the old infantry) rushing my joes at one point. Some of the best toy memories of my life lol.

All this talk about army building is making me think about my army. I should break it out and freak out my son.

I looked at him as well (mortal) but i cant get a bead on his face due to the angle of the photo that ive seen. Its definitely in that figures favor that its small. Theres no point having Lava fodder if they are bigger than the Lords or their immediate subordinates.
here is a picture, hopefully the face is quite clear.

At first glance i thought "maybe" but now, yeah, with a few modifications that head would work if it doesnt make teh body its on to large (tall). Its pretty damn close to the head shots of the lava warriors a few post up. It looks like ill be using that head or one from a completely different line down the road.

I prefer to repaint my Gormitis anyway - Forest, Air & Sea Tribes in realistic colours. Earth Tribe I have painted in pale almost albino flesh tones with worn battered armor colours and rock clours for the rocky bits. Volcano Tribe I have repainted to keep the red colours but deeper red with Tin Bitz armor parts, and firery oranges for highlights for lava effect.
I look at multiples of each of my Gormiti as that species with one of them customed as that unit's leader - the Gormiti character.
For the multiples of each tribe leaders - I have kept one of each as the characters, the rest I have cut up and converted into new leader class (or as I have them tribe champions, standard bearers or unstable mutants). For example I have customised a Carrapax body with a modified head of Noctis and wings of Helios to make a seagull/lobster hybrid.
So army building... It works.

Hey, I'm new to this forum, but I just have to say... Army Building, that is what I have been doing since I started collecting Gormiti (they are compatible with my Battle Beasts).

That sounds great. I would love to see some pics of your repaints and Heliopax mash.
