That's great news about series 2 but when will wave 2 of series 1 be
released? I'm assuming there will be a wave 2 since #2,7,10,16,18 & 22
haven't been released yet. Thanks for your time.

Damn it! i wonder if there is anyway of knowing the difference so we know when to start buying them again. maybe wave two will have the different coloured variants on the front so we can tell the difference.

Well, there's a chance we could get a visible Scorpiax, Blastor or Ulgar. I've been to 5 TRU, 5 Walmarts and 4 Targets and I haven't seen them yet....

Well, atleast it's good to know that wave 2 is now out. I will definately have to keep an eye out for them. The Fistfuls have actually been selling really well around here, except for my local Wal-Mart. They were selling really well until they stuffed them in the back, and now, not too many people notice them. So hopefully I will start seeing them sometime soon. Good point about Scorpiax, Blastor and Ulfgar being visible. I will definaetly have to pick up those packs. I still have to finish up my Wave 1 collection.

I went to a Walmart Superstore at lunch the other day, they had over 100 5 packs. That's the most I've seen and they definitely won't be selling out of those anytime soon. I'm going to check the Walmart that's closer to my town tonight. They had very few packs left on clearance when I checked last week. They should get wave 2 sooner than anyone else in my area. Unless, of course, they're not carrying them anymore, but it gives me hope that they still are b/c the battle boxes aren't on clearance.

Did you use the "system?" I hope so. 100 5 packs is half of what those big Walmart displays come with. They usually have 16 trays of 12 packs which is 192 5 packs. Then they usually have like at least another 10 2pack trays for 120 or so 2 packs.

So if you used the system at one Walmart with a HUGE display cap, you could be like Lazorlion and end up with 3 Cutters and 1 Shriek!!! Or at least a XAR!

the Wal-Mart near me has no "system-ified" packs, but the Target next door has all Clumsy system-ified packs. Neither one has Wave 2 yet, though.

I wasn't able to systemify all of them (haha, thanks Rid) but I did check all the 2 packs and quite a few 5 packs (made a point with the ones with Barrage visible). I just didn't have time for them all. They had some cases of 5 packs where I couldn't reach them and some were wedged in so tight on the lower-upper shelves that I couldn't pull them out. Did lazorlion find all of his at a single Walmart? If so, I may have to return and do them all. I'm going to a neighboring town this weekend for 2 Walmarts, a Target and a TRU also. After that, I'll give up and wait for wave 2 to appear. I stopped at the closest Walmart tonight and they only have 2- 5 packs left and they've sold all the Battle Boxes, so hopefully soon. I'll stop again on Friday.

According to Lazorlion he found all 4 of his in 5 packs and Tremor was the Hyper on the front of ALL of them.

I found my Shriek in a 2 pack at TRU w/ a crystal Hsss believe it or not.

His were all dated 12-10-04 and mine was dated 12-14-04.

According to Spinmasters, Series 1, Wave 2 aren't available here in the US yet. SO it's up to Oz and the UK to get them out on the Market first!

Series 1 wave 2 will be date stamped 01-01-05 or later.

Anything date stamped 04 will NOT contain wave 2 series 1 figures...but, might contain Xars or Secrets!!!

Check all your 2 packs and any 5 packs w/ Tremmor or Barrage on the front!

Then you will score some secrets or Xars!!!

I have noticed in Australia that some two packs are now sealed bags rather than the plastic covered cardboard. I wonder if that means they are wave 2?

I have open heaps of blue & yellow five packs and have still not found any of the missing figures.

I'll check the date stamps tonight.

I looked at my series 2 packs and I don't see that MOOSE used one.

Now on the series 1 packs, I found the date stamp embossed on the back of the card on the bottom right to center lower part of the card.

The wal-mart I go to had tons of FOP in the halls in those display cases, like 3 or more. Not including what was on the shelves. Apparently they did pretty well in my area because it only took about a month and a half for them to sell out. I havn't seen any since, and surely won't. Though they sold out pretty quick they still put what little they had left at the time on clearance. So they must have only sold really well in certain areas of the US, and apparently not in enough places. Now that I am really thinking of buying some for once, I wish they would start selling them again. I need to check again.
