Buddy of mine was in the army and he left some stuff at my place when he was back home on a break. I shipped it back to him on base with no issues.

An air force base has a normal USPS operated post office just like any place else (provided we are talking a stateside Air Force Base like Eglin - not some foreign base/station).  Houses have normal mailboxes, normal everything.  If the guy lives in an on base house, its no different than anywhere in suburban America - he has a mailbox the USPS delivers to out front.

If it is a single young guy/gal in the barracks, not much is different than a large apartment complex, he would have some centralized office mail with a key.

You have nothing more to worry about than any other place in the US.

I once mailed to a member here who lived on base in Alaska.
No problems at all.

Thanks for all your answers, i didnt know if that was normal. Theres so many sketchy people on ebay, the last one who tried to purchase the same item was using someone elses identification and never paid so i thought it would be a good idea to ask on here because someone would know :)
