I didn't want to clutter the board with an additional topic so I redited the one I did about visiting Hong Kong.

I was in Hong Kong for 1 week (my second time) and I visited a couple of toy stores looking to buy some Kinnikuman merch/toys.

I visited the following stores:

1-Ins Point
2-CTMA (Mongkok)
3-Sino Center
4-Superman Toys (in CTMA)

Finding Kinnikuman Kinkeshi in Hong Kong was not that easy & it was rather scarce (let alone kinnikuman merch).

I bought 5 Dekas in their original packaging (pure chance and 4 are Kinnikuman Dekas) but really didn't find much keshi besides a couple I bought.

Some are sold at crazy prices from the vintage line at around $40-100 bucks for just one!

I ended up buying Sofubi, I always dabbled in collecting them and found some japanese wrestling sofubi and Kinnikuman sofubi that I ended up buying (along with some stuff I dont actually collect but I found too cool to pass by)

Inns Point and Sino Center are great. They're within walking distance of each other.

I didn't see many older kinnikuman stuff. Mainly the SH Figuarts releases.

I am looking for Japanese toys (vintage) or sofubi but regardless I enjoy looking at toy stores.

there's also ToyZone. It's basically a big warehouse of consignment stuff. I think I saw some neat old time kinkeshi in one of the cubes last visit.

Arrived in Hong Kong yesterday. Note to self: Most toy stores don't open until 4:00pm! But found Inns Point and CTMA just fine; just have to make 2nd trip to both :)

I don't necessarily collect Mazinger Z or Ultraman but I found these cool & affordable (the Mazinger Z are huge but not original; those run a pretty penny but I saw a lot of cool custom replicas/copies).

Unfortunately one of them (Mazinger Z) broke in the flight back (just 1 horn from the head and a small piece of the chest piece)

The sellers are quite helpful and cool once you have that icebreaker (of course language is a barrier but it works out) :)

i tried looking for bootleg figures as well in the markets but didnt really find much in terms of the old stuff (Kamen Rider or Ultraman).

Now on to the sofubi! Various wrestlers (also from the original Tiger Mask line) and a few kinnikuman sofubi :)

I have no idea how many are in the line (the Japanese wrestlers Medicom Sofubi) so if anyone here knows a good website with a checklist for both those or Kinnikuman releases please let me know.

Even though they are from different lines I find that on display they go well together on account of the pro wrestling.
