Woohoo!  Just when you thought Masters of the Universe Classics had gone boring, they come out with something insane!  Each quarter, the subscription has one oversized figure.  For the first quarter of last year, they released Modulok, a figure that required 100% new tooling, and is still just as awesome as he was then.  Seriously, it's one of the best things they have ever released.  For the second quarter of 2015, Mattel has released a similar figure - Multi-Bot, who shares Modulok's parts-swaping gimmick, but is a robot instead of a monster.

Ohhhhhhhhh yeeeeaaaaaaahhhh.

MULTI-BOT: EVIL ROBOT OF A THOUSAND BODIES
REAL NAME: SERIAL NUMBER 2313
After being wounded in battle with the Renegade Masters of the Universe, 
Galen Nycoff, lead scientist of the Horde invaders, created a robot 
version of himself which, like its master, could reassemble body parts in 
1,0001 different ways. The robot was unleashed on the enemies of the 
Horde during the Second Ultimate Battle Ground, fighting as both a 
humanoid, an Attak Trak Tank, and finally combined with its creator to 
form the Ultrabeast, a giant cyborg creature that ripped Randor's Blaster 
Hawk squadron from the skies! The menacing creature was brought down by a 
combined blow from both He-Man and She-Ra, who channeled the full Power of 
Grayskull to literally tear him apart piece by piece!

Multi-Bot is packaged the same way as Modulok, in a box that shows off so many ways you can reconfigure him.  It's great, and a nice way to get a headstart on some ideas.

Multi-Bot's original price is somewhere in the ballpark of $45, but expect to pay way more.  To be honest, the toy feels worth the advanced price, considering how much comes with it.

Seriously, he has more pieces than Modulok.  Note that they fixed the waist issue, too - you can pop Multi-Bot apart at the wist, which sadly was not the case for Modulok.  This adds way more options for the figure, and yes, he is compatible with Modulok overall.

Pretty much, Multi-Bot is two complete robots with extra spare parts. Everything feels durable, and should hold up to some play.  But hey, which would you prefer?  Discussion about the integrity of his ball-joint articulation, or pictures?  Enjoy!

He looks great, man.  I was long out of MOTU when this guy was originally released, but I can't wait to have him in hand to mix up with Modulok!   Ours are on the way.

My wife tells me he is arriving with Squeeeeze.    With figures like Fangman, Batros, and Strongarm, they have really been killing it!
