They are certainly part of the Glyos Royal Family to me, opening up some fun builds.

Welcome!  Man, I love those pics! Especially the one where the army green scorpion is holding Iron Man's head  and the one with the gold Mushi and his full Egyptian court!

Thanks John and Chris! Great to be here (I'm Charles. Balok over on Octobertoys). Chris that Egyptian piece is from a knockoff of playmobil toys I stumbled across on ebay a few years back. I will try to get the brand name for you. I just searched under 'Egyptian playset' . Not great quality, but evokes the right atmosphere. Again, glad to be here and chatting about ROTB with you.

I got my first ever Onell order today. I was surprised to find an Armorvore in my order when I hadn't actually ordered one (and an extra baggies with switch pins and scraf pieces too! Nice!). I wasn't convinced by the new Granthan head or that specific color scheme when viewing it on the website, but now that I have it in hand I actually really like it! Anyway, I decided to have some fun:

This is WAY cooler than it has any right to be :p

POW! Right in the face!

Fun with heads! I think that one guy on the far left is in Daft Punk...

This isn't an intentional head but I think it looks bug-like enough, no?

These are terrific.  I love LRG toys and all that you can do with them.  I especially like the combining of Onell and Spy Monkey parts.  As a child of the 80's, I think my favorite may be the flesh.

p.s. even after all this time, i still take the worst photos.  I can't blame my camera phone anymore.  <sigh>

Cool pics! I like your use of the glyos blasters as torsos - I have a bunch of those I should try out.

Matt (founder of Onell) is insanely generous, especially to new customers. I've been buying Glyos stuff for at least 5 years and I can't even count all the freebies he's thrown in with my orders.

Thanks!

I love these guys. Can't wait for the lizard and the ant. I hope to get a couple protos of those, too. ;)

Jon: I put them up on that shelf, which is in the living room, and my kid's jaw dropped.

"DAD. WHERE DID YOU GET THOSE RISE OF THE BEASTS? I AM SO JELLY RIGHT NOW."

Dad is a little bit selfish and doesn't share the sweet figures. Oops?

I'm with ya JafariStew! Find myself wishing I had these as a kid, easily would have ruled my toy/play world. Can't get enough and chomping at the bit for the expanded line (excited for all these new sculpts...so many plans for ROTB)
