Anybody know what's up with these two figures?

Hi all. I've been collecting M.U.S.C.L.E.s for years, but haven't ever been active in the online community. However I just made a purchase and am a little puzzled by two of the figures. There's nothing unique about the figures themselves, but they're in baggies that appear factory sealed, but the figures are clearly used (they have marks on them). These are the Nestle bagged figures, but it also doesn't look like a DIY project (like I said, the bags appear to have been factory sealed). Testing the figures without opening the bags and I'm sure they're M.U.S.C.L.E.s and not Kinkeshi.

 

Anyone know what's up with this? Did someone who had the equipment to seal this type of bag get bored and repackage some M.U.S.C.L.E.s or something?

Looks like someone was trying to fake the Nestle Quik figures.

That sucks.

 

Making those bags isn't very hard. You can probably get the machine for it for $20-$30 on Amazon or Temu.

Making those bags isn't very hard. You can probably get the machine for it for $20-$30 on Amazon or Temu.

Yeah these are part of Darrin's M.P.S's collection they were added to the bags as a joke, cause everyone was looking for nes quik figures. I believe he just left them in the pack for nostalgia, they haven't touched air in over 25 years.

Too bad, I always remember the smell of my M.U.S.C.L.E. Figure I got from Nestle, and the smell was different, and that is what I remember the most about it. #143 & #50,,,,
