No, No, No and No.
Please refrain from asking for handouts on this board. While we all like to help out the new guys and get the ball rolling, asking for freebies reflects poorly on you.
Alot of members will testify to the fact that when they first started out, someone hooked them up with some guys for little or nothing. But they will also tell you that they didn't ask for them.
The group as a whole is very generous, as somewhere down the line, someone was generous to us. But utilize some class, and don't ask for handouts.

I agree, people have offered free muscles to me (which i glady accepted) but i never asked for free ones. as a matter of fact that thought in particular never crossed my mind. people are more willing to give things to people who contribute and who show respect for others on the board. another thing is the legend of kendaman, a kid who came on the boards and at around his 8th post asked for free muscles. well, after about 2 hours when no one responded, he replied very angrily accusing us of hating children and other things. then some people gave him a few free ones and he left never to be seen again. this is why people are suspicious if you ask for free muscles, and i for one would never even deal with anyone who asked for free muscles just because i would be afraid of getting scammed.

Well said, Johnny and Wraith. I'm a big promoter of "MUSCLE Socialism", that is, giving one or two of my extras to those who love MUSCLEs but simply can't afford Ebay prices. However, I DON'T give out MUSCLEs to just anyone. I reserve them for those who I feel have positively contributed to the board for an extended period of time, and who are not just casual MUSCLE fans. Also, I don't always have extras to give out, so I can't guarantee my charity all the time.
So, basically, don't call us... we'll call you.

I figured I would chime in on this topic. One reason not to ask for handouts is that it will create a negative first impression of you that will have to work hard to change. People usually reserve giving free MUSCLEs to members who have contributed to this forum and have some amount of respect. I have received some free MUSCLEs before, but I have never asked for them. I felt quite honored and appreciative that someone would do that. Everyone here is pretty cool and generous, and good things will flow your way if you hang around the forum for a long time and are a contributing member.

I can’t say anything to improve on what has already been said. I just wanted to add my support for this idea.
