Entitled "F**k You, Pay Me", about how designers, artists, writers, etc, deserve to be compensated for their work. It's a lecture video, but a solid one.

   

 

Also: Here's a brilliant response from a designer, when slyly asked for free work by Showtime (also, his subsequent thoughts in the following interview are pretty interesting):

I don't really get what the issue was here.

Showtime was running a contest where the winner would get an all expense paid trip to Vegas and the fight. Is that correct?
Were they saying that all entries, even if they didn't win, were property of Showtime to still use?
The winner would be compensated via the trip, correct? If someone didn't think that was fair compensation, then they could just not enter the contest. Right?

Correct. They personally reached out to him, and solicited him though.
