One thing I've noticed from GPK auctions is that they bidders usually wait until the last minute to bid. My guess is that there are probably 6-10 watchers patiently waiting for the clock to wind down. Why isn't this selling? Too much and/or bad seller?

i've noticed this too. It just was the case last night when I was watching a neon yellow Thin Lynn. I watched that thing for 6 days and was thinking maybe I had a shot at winning it at starting price until the last minute when everyone went nuts!

Every rare cheap toy auction on ebay right now will have 1 or more people sniping at the last minute. It's just a matter of who digs the deepest. Consider yourself extremely lucky if you find yourself bidding on a rare CT auction without this phenomenon occurring. I have seen a couple of decent base color lots, of 10 or more, go un-contested after opening bid, averaging at about 5-6$ per figure.
Yea I only got lucky once and got my neon red Lynn for like 15 bucks. I want a few more neons but just cant put out the cash needed at this time.

for common figures.
.
not that it is discounted. We as consumers are conditioned to think"On Sale"means it's cheaper.
