Hi All,

I'm new to the forum and need a little help.

I'm starting to sell up my personal collection of toys that I had as a kid.

I have a small collection of MIMP that I am planning to sell on eBay. The thing is I do not know anything about them.

I'm not sure what to start the auction at, if I have anything good or if they will even sell so any help would be appreciated.

I have included some pictures of my collection

Thanks all

All of your MIMP are common colors worth about $1 US a piece. The stained and faded ones are worth less as nobody really wants them unless they want to custom paint them which is not common for people to do. I bought some like that recently to paint but it was only because I paid pennies for them. The standards for perfection in MIMPs are pretty high because its not too hard to get near flawless figures. I would put the stained and faded ones at about $.50 US max. The only ones I am not sure of are the two wrestlers in the last pic.

If I were a collector looking for them I would want a starting bid of about $25 and a BIN around $30 ish for the whole lot. Really though, your group here is only going to attract new collectors; so you may have some trouble moving them if you don't make the price reasonable. Sell them as a lot so you can move the damaged ones too.

None of these figures is worth more than 50p at the very most. The stained ones are, for all intents and purposes, worthless. You should list them as a lot, and if you make more than £10 you are doing very well..

The very last figure is a PET Alien, not MIMP.

Yep, I agree with the guys ahead of me. List them as a lot on Ebay with a low starting bid and see what you can get.

Thank you very much for all of your replys. They have been most helpful. I did not think they were going to be worth much, so whatever I get for them I will be happy with :)

Just out of interest what causes the staining on the figures? They have just been stored in a tin for a number of years.

Black stain I am not sure. Probably ink or maybe rust from the tin. Red staining is from figures melting on each other, though it usually takes a high amount of heat for this too happen.
