Fights usually don't break out into my forums often. The one in 3rd Gen was one in a few I've had since my days as an admin. Most of my sites are like a huge home where everyone knows and respects each other. In all honesty, I'm a peacemaker who likes to talk through fights and get to the bottom of things before warning/banning. Most of the fights I've seen have been resolved through both members coming to me (either in chat or a private messaging where we can sort it out without interfereing upon others' activities in the forum). I have given warnings a few times. I have banned a total of 4 members in my entire lifetime as admin. Usually I'll do a warning system and different offenses reciving a warning amount that I'll issue out. Once you recieve the max amount, you get suspended temporarily. That seems to keep most problems at bay and out of the message boards. The 4 times I've banned people have been either 1. *2 times* Repeated offenses (I mean CONSTANTLY as soon as their suspension is over), 2. A hacker member hacked my account and screwed up my forum, which I had to rebuild up....I'm pretty good with hacking/etc myself so I found out who they were and banned them and made SURE they couldn't back into the site.... and 3. Guy's threatening to basically uproot the whole forum and make it his and KM's for them to godmod and abuse powers however they wish.

I think that's pretty much it as far as banning history goes. As I said, I usually don't have many problems at all in particular, but sometimes it does get a lil' rough. ^^

Funny, it sorta resembles my past as well.

I don't let my bad pasts with a person via messenger get in the way of the rules and whatnot of the forums unless they've caused other members problems as well. If they break the rules, I give them warnings. Trolls are automatically deleted.

I'm not exactly a peacemaker, though I try to uphold the peace between members anyways. I also watch in case one of the members might have created another account for trolling.

My policy at first (as I've said a few lines up) was not to let pasts get in way. GenEx forums turned out differently from what I thought it'd be. Sure, we had a handful of members, but I interacted with all of them via messengers and we sorta became a family.

Where I'm getting to at, here, is watching if one of those people acts as another person for either attention, entertainment, or to test somebody in some way.

That has happened to me a few times, and usually it's the same person.

AND WHEN IS THIS TOPIC GOING TO BE CLOSED? THIS FLAME WAR HAS BEEN DRAGGED ON LONG ENOUGH, IT HAS TO END NOW/.

People fight, it's human nature, but this forum is not a battle ground. The insults passed between this flame war was not only extremely rude to certain demographics, but completely stupid. This forum is to discuss Kinnikuman fandom, not argue about boyfriends/disabilities/etc, and I won't name names, but I know a few people that need a temporary banning.

That being said, I agree with Grizzledman there. It's really silly to get into a fight with people over the internet, especially if you don't even know them in real life. The best thing to do is to just shrug and move on.

Well, I've said my 2 cents, time to drift back into the shadows.
