I'm going with Yay, because aside from the graphics and whichever character is in it, the engine is made by AKI, most known for their excellent line of N64 wrestling games as well as the GC Ultimate Mustle Game...

i'm not at all impressed with what little i've seen of it.

it looks like they gave the artists who appear as characters the chance to design their own finishers, or something. i'm sure you've seen that one clip in the ad where some dude is performing some flashy move. also, it just feels like while they were creating the game, they sat back and removed any any all moves that looked "homosexual".

i'm probably just reading all of this into it, but this is just how i feel, for whatever reason...

I am going to have to say that I have absolutely no interest at all in this game. It looks as dumb as a game can get. I'm not thrilled with the way it looks. Plus, wrestling musicians is so incredibly lame I cannot even begin to put it into words.

EGM scores: 7.0, 8.5, 7.5

Visuals 8
Sound 8
Ingenuity 6
Replay 7

Like Rokk said, I really have no intrest in this game. EGM said that their isnt even a creat a wrestler option (which is the best part of any wrestleing game).

well, at the risk of veering too far off-topic, their feud with the west texas rednecks was classic, classic stuff.

uhh... no, not really. it was crap. wrestlecrap...

game looks lame

just some of the current big time rappers wanted themselves in a video game and they didnt want it to be like the Britney Spears game

so they made themselves look like they know how to wrestle and such

lame way to self promote

yo, that llooks like a damn solid game
good graphics, smooth animations....aki....it was rated well by multiple sites and magazines (most rate it the highest of any current wrestling game),
looks like it plays well from the videos i've seen, and it has some insane moves thrown in
i'd get it...but i'm waiting for the first good wwf (i refuse to use the e) game since no mercy on n64

Wouldn't you like to get one of those rappers in the ring so you could lay the smackdown on him? I can see it now. Philly Madison v. DMX. -_-

I'd get it, if I could use Notorious B.I.G. to crush Puff daddy. If you want to get a "celebrity" wrestling game, get "Celebrity Deathmatch"...at least that will be a little more realistic than this garbage, heh.

lol:lol:

another fantasy match that i can lose lol

Im personally not againest rap

doesn't mean i listen to it but i have nothing really againest it

I am however againest musicians that are in video games that there is no way in hell they can do any of those wrestling moves

If God willing i ever made it big enough and i was in a video game my character will only do moves i do in real life and if for some reason that can't happen then ill do the moves that are set for me in the video game
(thats how i learned the Oklahoma roll lol WWF No Mercy)

but who am i kidding money talks

Could be worse... could be Wrestlers trying to sing. Ever hear Lou Albano sing the end theme to Super Mario Bros. Super Show? it ain't pretty!

I rented the PS2 version of this game and it's very solid. The lack of CAW mode kinda sucks, but it's the first wrestling game for a next gen platform that doesn't suck(at least in my opinion). It's basically like playing No Mercy with rappers and better graphics. And Ghostface Killah's giant kick to the balls finisher is hilarious.

I own this game. I like it. If you were a N64 wrestling game fan(WCW Revenge or WWF No mercy)...you'll definitely like this game. Yeah, yeah...there are rappers in this game. So what. The gameplay is great! The signature moves are just insane.

AKI Corp. made wrestling games are probably the best out there. Since there contract with WWE expired. This is the closest you'll get to a N64 wrestling style gameplay.

Just my .02. :p

After playing Def Jam Vendetta I'm even more pumped about seeing the Ultimate Muscle game that's coming out for the GameCube, since it was made by AKI as well. It apparently has a create a wrestler mode as well as a jump button.

I hope that the Creat a wrestler mode is good. That is one of my favorite options in all wrestleing games. And also, does anyone know if there are any entrances in the game?

In this game, there is no CAW mode. That's probably the thing I disliked about this game. No major entrance themes either because there is no need for one.

I would of liked to have a CAW mode in this game, but even with it not there...the game is very fun! <_<
