Looks pretty sweet with the battle beast background pretty pricey though!

Pretty crazy pricing if you´d ask me. If he´d created on open auction it might´ve ended around $150 or a little more but doing it as such ain´t going to attract much more interest.

Nice piece though and the condition seems pretty fair as well but is it worth that price....... probably is for some although the $500 BIN is pretty useless.

Some dude that follows me on IG posted one of these up the otherday no doubt it's the same one.

Look again Ed, there´s a clear difference in the condition of the package between the one on Ebay and the one you´ve seen so its clearly not the same one unless the seller has been fooling around with it after he took the Ebay pics, and in that case he can really forget about this $500 ;)

Yeah, $150 is about where I'd expect a normal auction to have ended.  I've got this piece loose and paid around $45-$50 a couple years ago.

The thing with this piece is there is no dought it is a rare piece and the packaging is cool in its own way.
But a lot of people just like to stick to there beasts as they fit in the cabinet with ease.
This piece is a lot more rare then most laser beasts but the popularity of it just isn't there. Hence why it wouldn't get anywhere near the $500 mark in a open auction.

I mean I love it but just don't ever see me owning it or the crab claw. But both are very cool and very rare.

I just checked through my files and didn't see it, and it looks like I had hotlinked to the eBay image in the thread (I'm the one who posted the sighting last year) so the link is broken now

anyone else save that photo of the white gorilla? Or, did we ever figure out if it ended up in this community?

When this was being discussed I remember someone saying another had popped up like it years before, I feel like it might have even been mentioned in a thread on here years ago. don't recall seeing another photo though.

don't know where the gorilla pic is but here's the other two

just, wow!

it amazes me that these didn't even come up when the gorilla was being discussed pretty heavily. didn't even know these versions existed. are those the only known 3 that were made? Either way thanks for sharing!

for everyone who hadn't seen the Gorilla already, it's the same color scheme as these.

It would not be the first time that Dollar store bootleg items turn out to become one of the more rare pieces, especially if they come from a country in which the line was never actually released since that places these items in a completely different light. These are pretty unique pieces in the BB world.

Yea $300 doesn't sound to bad to me. For how rare the piece actually is.
I mean let's face it none of these toys actually cost a tone to make.
But it's the rarity and popularity that makes them cost so much.
I don't expect everybody to go crazzy over this kind of stuff. But I think the die hard collectors can appreciate how cool these rare pieces are even though there not made as well as the originals.

Shadow bat do you have all three in your collection? If so well done mate!
