Looks like voting on series 4 has already started!

http://www.octoberto...e4ec022e5f659c1

Or you can just check out the entries if your not interested in voting.

http://octobertoys.com/omfg4/

I'm not voting to get figures I want, rather there's figures I don't want so don't want votes going to them.
Like #19, 21, 31 can all kiss my ass. And I sure as hell don't want no penis ninja.

Everyones all about 145. Just my opinion but I feel like all the toys that get picked in this line are so typical of past toys. So many fresh ideas will get overlooked. I personally like the staircase lol

I'm in two minds as whether to vote or not considering I boycotted the series 3 Kickstarter. Am I being a hypocrite in complaining about OMFG recently and then voting for the next series? Maybe. Or will a strong set of series 4 figures rekindle my interest? I haven't even looked at any of the entires for weeks now, so it would be interesting at least to see what is on offer.

Just wait for it. There are other dipshits voting for the same 4 designs repeatedly though.
I mean, telling someone to vote for 4/5 designs is seriously greedy and irks me to no end.

De ja effing vu anyone??

I hope George doesn't let this shit continue or it could spell the end for omfg.

The guy who submitted it said he was trying to bring attention to a disease called friedreichs ataxia. I am not sure how it correlates exactly. Maybe it had a name that explained it before names were no longer allowed.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Friedreich's_ataxia

I understand why names are banned but it does make me unable to figure out about a 1/3rd of the submissions.

I think that a good figure will stand out without a name.
That being said, Burty, if you boycotted series 3 because of the weakness of the line, you are not at all a hypocrite for voting to try to make series 4 better. If you were voting to keep it bad or make it worse, then, yeah... But voting to improve something you feel is broken? I think you're ethically in the clear, haha

I agree but at the same time it pretty much eliminates anyone who has a great idea but can't draw or sculpt or pixel an idea very well.

Not that it matters to me anyway since I think if i vote i will limit myself to voting on sculpts instead of art. I don't want OMFG figures that are all only sculpted by one guy no matter how good he is at sculpting.

So I am thinking the living candle and the shambling mound thing and that buff anime girl so far.

Yeah, looks like someone is trying to rig the voting in favour of 6, 12, 40 and 48. Shameful shit.

They can't say they weren't warned about this.

I see a handful of submissions I really like in there, but by now I've pretty much resigned myself to the fact that the really great ideas will only occasionally get voted through for OMFG. It's just the nature of that beast and I don't see it changing. If people have thought out ideas and confidence in their work they can always (and absolutely should) try to get their own figures produced/sold outside of OMFG.

If #48 (teeth with feet) gets rig-voted in then the OMFG line will end up in tatters! Only time will tell I guess...

For now, 47 and 107 are two already-sculpted figures I would definitely love to see in a Series 4. I'm not sure which others I will pick if I were to vote. I probably will, but haven't decided yet.

The only ones I'm really sure of supporting are 10 and 93. I like 66, 81 and 90 too, although the chosen sculpt for 81 is not the best realisation of the concept imo.

Wrt Bulls-Eye #47, that was a design I liked a lot, but I'm really not happy at all about the design compromise that has been made with the tail, which is now stuck to the back leg. I don't see how I can vote for it looking like that.

A lot of them are just plain weird and I'm finding it hard to find 5 figures I'm desperate to own.

With Bull's Eye, I just think it sucks that Raging Nerdgasm agreed to collaborate with emboyd on it, emboyd completed a sculpt of it, then George's sculpt was used for the submission. Maybe his sculpt works better as a two-part mold or whatever, but it just has the feeling of choosing the sculpt that gives Raging Nerdgasm all the free figures instead of splitting with someone he agreed to collaborate with.

I went through all the submissions and wrote down numbers I would consider voting for last night. I think I only wrote down about 10 numbers and narrowing them to 5 was pretty easy for me. I'm sure there are a lot of designs I didn't consider that could look cool when sculpted though.

it sucks when people try to rig the votes or pressur others into voting a certain way. i do like number 6 though. 40/48 are meh. i also really like 94 (alligator in the crapper).

After sifting through the entires I'm leaning towards 10, 85, 106, 107 and 145. Two of those are females (for a something different). The wooly wisp character looks cool, especially when painted so that the eyes stand out. Not 100% sure how it'll look when in a solid colour however.

Obviously voting is very far from over, but it looks like 10 and 45 are way out in front in the high 20s of votes, and I'd be surprised if either of those didn't make it. 10 I really like and I can live with 45 I guess.

Then there's another 9 or 10 with a similar amount of votes (10-16) vying for the last three places: 4, 6, 12, 22, 34, 47, 48, 85 and 90.

6, 12 and 48 should be discounted as they're the ones that the shills are voting for. Which really leaves 4 (Brain Wave), 22 (one-eyed mermaid thing), 34 (two-eyed mermaid thing), 47 (Bulls-Eye), 85 (Strawberry Shortcake meets Twilight) and 90 (awesome tree monster dude) as the leading contenders.

Of course, that can all change quickly :)
