It was won by the person who wins all the BEB auctions. He hasn't posted here since his underhanded dealings were exposed by myself back in June.

Shame about the unremovable acrylic paint, else the price would have been considerably more than £360.

Here's the image for posterity. What on earth possesses someone to do this to their toys?

£360  Wow! I am speechless that someone would pay that
for those figures with that paint job ;/ Acrylic paint is very tough
to remove.

Does this work?

Arr, well.

I queried the paint type- acrylic may be able to be removed with the right solutions and a lot of time.

I thought the hideous paintwork would send buyers away, £36 a pop is a lot, although they could be plain painted i guess if unremovable. Yeah if unpainted would of been 500-800 i guess.

Theres definatly more being spotted these days- the 2 yesterday i was bidding on have already been pulled and relisted.

Which reminds me, must take some more beb pics and send soupie my bad eggz photo archive for his cool website.

I not a BEB collector. I do like these figures alot. I think they look pretty sweet. But with there rarity, I had to say its a bad move to paint these figures. B)

I think Csmhoff is right. Unpainted would have fetch a little more.

This isn't the first time they've been listed. I've heard laments over these BEBs before. B)

I still gotta say I'm surprised at how much they went for, considering the paint job. It comes out to like what, $50 per figure? Jeez, I remember not that long ago when $50 could get a good condition, hard plastic bad eggz. The prices now are just depressing.

About $55 a figure I think. Mint condition figures are fetching around $100 a piece now. It just goes to show how in these extremely niche markets, a single aggressive collector can skew prices upwards dramatically. It's quite remarkable B)
