"Translucent creature" party favor. They could be ordered from U.S. Toy in bags of 12 a few years ago. Prior to that, they also came in painted versions, which I have a few of (from a capsule machine I think).

You can see the full set here:

This is why this guy's the shit.

If this guy sold his collection I'd likely be down for about 80% of it....I certainly can't say that about many other folks.  Cheers.

These figures are literally my favorite things.  My dream is to one day have each sculpt in green, as well as figure A1 in all colors.  I would trade off

the others to assist in making this dream a reality.  Until then, this is what I have:

By the way, the guy in the OP is named PARCP = Punching Anal Rectal Colon Polyp

He looks particularly menacing in red, so well done on scoring that!

I've got the walking fish in green, I'd gladly trade the green one for some other color.

Sure thang mang!  That is Fish Stixxx.   5/8.   Woo hoo, feels like hump day!

I will tell you a story.  I got these at a local non-chain tiny toy store in 2010. They were 25 cents each.  I would go there once in awhile, and since it was a little dink hole, I would feel guilty about just being there without making a purchase.  So I would get like four of these, just to throw them a buck. That is why the collection is so rando.  I never really committed to the line back then, and I would just get a couple each time to be polite.

Anyway, this place closed down in 2012.  Then, just about a year ago, I found out that they actually had just moved, and had since re-opened at a new location.  I had no idea.  I thought they were long gone.  I went one time to the new place, which was a real PITA to get to.  But I went just hoping that they had these butt buggers.  That was it.  I went just looking for these things, as they had since grown on me.  Anyway... NOPE.  The hipster at the register had no idea what I was talking about when I described them, and I have not been back ever since!

Yeah- these are definitely a cool line to be sure. I've spent the last hour or so searching combinations of the words:

translucent / transparent / creature / monster / party favor / toy / figure

to no avail.

I'm sure some retailer out there has 85 pounds of these guys they can't get rid of.

I just wrote U.S. Toy as well as the mom-and-pop shop that I found these at.

By the way, U.S. Toy has retail stores in these location:

    Kansas City
    Chicago
    Los Angeles
    Philadelphia
    Orlando
    Denver
    Dallas

I doubt there would be any more of these hanging around stores, but it might be a fun outing nonetheless.

Wow!  I had been away from the computer for a few hours... nice to see all of the responses!!  The sculpt is WAAAYYY better than what I would have thought a glorified "party favor" toy would have been.  It's really nice.  Glad to know the origins!!!  Thanks all!

I guess we should go ahead and ask A l a n M a s k E S Groman if he designed these too.

For some reason, typing the word A l a n M a s k in the normal way produced this: Alan Mask
