Hey guys! This is my first post here, I'd really appreciate if you guys could help me out. So, today I scored two of these awesome muscle spinning top wrestling game sets. You put the Keshi figure in the top and they spin and do battle. Set is complete with stickers and six figures in each game which are still sealed in bags and both games are complete as far as I can see. Boxes are a little worn but still look great. Anyone know what the value on something like this would be? I love muscle figures but I've never even seen this game before and there's no similar eBay listing that I could see. Box is all in Japanese but I did find a copyright date sticker under the plastic ring. What do you guys think? I would like to sell these guys but would like to know more about them so that any deal I make is fair to whoever is interested. I'd never charge an evilbay price, I just wanna know how rare these guys really are. I cant even find a picture of them anywhere on the internet, or in the mini figure militia page or on any other retro toy group I'm a part of.

I picked one these up for about $30. Mine has a tear in the front of the box which decreases the value a bit.

I would say around $40 each would be a fair price from what I can see of the ones you have pictured.

Ditto, these come up quite often on yahoojapan in various degrees of condition (mostly pretty good though). They run from $30-$40 but on top of that I would also include shipping from Japan to the U.S. (anywhere between $20-$30 depending on shipping method like EMS or SAL etc). So you could round it up to an even $50-$60 max including shipping if you are choosing to sell it.

I wouldn't factor international shipping in as part of the sales price, unless you are shipping it internationally. I found mine domestically, and assume the OP has done the same. For the extra shipping cost, one could be found in better condition and be shipped directly from Japan.

Its subjective (in my opinion), I guess since sometimes it could be you bought something from Japan and rfor whatever reason you decide to sell it state side and I assume one would factor in what one paid for including shipping (of course when reselling something you never end up getting the money you paid for). But I haven't seen these for $30 including shipping from Japan to the U.S. or in my case Germany. Pretty good deal if you found one for $30 within the U.S :)

I always find deals on yahoojapan but once you factor shipping I get screwed sometimes lol

Is shipping generally cheaper from Japan to the U.S?

What I am saying is that it's not being imported from Japan, so the price of shipping from Japan should not be added. For $50-$60, I could import one, but why would I pay extra for one that is already on the same continent?

We aren't talking about recouping shipping costs that the seller accrued from his original purchase. If he had bought this from a Japanese source and had it shipped to him, then he probably would know the answer to his question already. Adding shipping cost that he could have paid had it not been found locally merely inflates the price to the point that it would make more sense to just import one in mint condition.

For the record, mine was found in Canada, also in a pair of two, curiously. I paid less than $10 for shipping to USA.

Super jealous for that $10 shipping! Yeah I know what you mean, collecting wise I often just order straight from Japan and that is cheaper than someone selling a Japanese product from the States, also weirdly enough shipping from Canada to Germany has been cheap for muscle related stuff (the U.S is by far the most expensive for me)
