Hey All, according to the sites Ive checked, this sculpt wasnt made in red. Today I received a red one in a lot with other muscles. Any explanation or am I just misreading the possible color list?

Can you provide pics of the figure? Front, back, and under the feet.

These are the best I can get. Correct marking on back. What do ya think?

Wow. I'm not as versed in iding Muscle as others here, but this looks like a legit Muscle. And the list I have also don't list a red Turbo Man. But going to have to wait until someone else with more knowledge to chime in.

Awesome find none the less.

Can you clean the figure and post pics again, especially of the bottom of the feet

Sure thing. What are you looking for so that I get the exact angle etc you need?

Do you have another red M.U.S.C.L.E. you can use to compare the color tone against this one? Also, seeing it next to another #232 for size comparison would be helpful.

There are some bootlegs out there that could easily pass for a legit M.U.S.C.L.E. when seen alone. These Korean bootlegs come to mind.

The best way to determine whether it is a boot or not is to have other examples to compare it against.

I'm always happy to be wrong, but I am 100% sure this isn't a MUSCLE figure.

1. The YSNT should be easy to see.

MUSCLEFigure232fb.jpg

2. The texture looks off.

3. The lack of comparison.

If I was trying to identify an exciting find, then I'd be curious how he looks next to other Red figures. I'd want to talk about the texture/feel of the figure. I would instantly share that the figure feels/smells/looks like other figures.

In my experience, when someone asks, "Is this rare/special?" It isn't.

The molding marks as well, look off- compared to M.u.s.c.l.e.

I'm just super new to collecting them as a hobby, and learning as I go. Not trying to dupe anyone. I'm waiting on a lot that has other reds in it, and as of the moment the Turboman is my only red. Everything about it seems to match the flesh size feel and smell etc. as you pointed out. Ill try to get better pics of the feet and markings today. Whether or not its a rare, bootleg or whatever, its not FS, so that's not why I'm asking. Just wondered why I had a red that supposedly doesn't exist

Ok, after further evaluation, I believe General Veers s correct. Its a bootleg. The plastic its made of has no flexability, unlike the other muscle figures I compared it to. Its almost like a "GI Joe" or Star Wars" type plastic. Thanks everyone for getting me on the right path. Its definitely a great try for a knockoff!
