A few weeks ago I posted a pair of Green #186 on Instagram. I wanted to figure out a cool, fair way to get the extra figure into the hands of another collector. What do you guys think of this idea?

An eBay auction with all of the proceeds going to Toys for Tots.

I think that's a very cool idea - donating to the proceeds to charity.  Godd stuff!

Ok, cool. I've had so many people help me; it didn't feel fair/right to just hand over the figure to one person. I'm glad you guys like the idea.

One other question, do you guys care if the arm is broken?

I honestly don't care. (Seriously.) But the logical part of my brain is saying keep the NOT-broken one.

Is the broken arm a deal breaker for anyone?

Not a deal breaker but it might affect my bidding ceiling.
The one I have doesn't have the wire so this one is still an upgrade.

And if I did happen to win it...id put up mine afterward

Probably a deal breaker for me... Or best case seriously lower my max bid.

But either way - I think the auction for charity is a great idea!

Gah, VTR is such a flimsy dude!  I would say 90% of the ones I have ever received are broken in the same spot.

At least the arm is still attached.

Is MUSCLE rubber easily manipulated? Sans glue, is there any way to gently melt it back together somehow at that point? Crack might still be visible but at least it would hold on?

Super glue applied with a needle or safety pin would likely be best.
