Has anyone seen these before?

Attached File  dinopackan1.jpg   369.5K   75 downloads

I think they were released (in Canada?) in the 80's...has anyone got pictures of the figures?

Thanks!

Hey, did you know there's a discussion about these over at the GPK board? A GPK collector there named Griswold says he has some of these figures. You could ask him. (He said he would post pictures at some point.)

(Novo Bonbon is the same company that made the 2nd series Cheap Toys.)

<_<

Yeah I guess after over 20 years or so they would probably be more of a figure than chewing gum. <_<

Also, this is just an educated guess, but as the 2nd series Cheap Toys made by this company are hard plastic, I think these dinosaurs might be as well. I should be able to confirm this with the GPK collector Griswold, though.

Er, on second thought, after re-reading the packaging... are we sure there was actually a toy figure in these bags or was it simply dinosaur-shaped gum?

Yeah, I was assuming they were just like Cheap Toys, that is, a plastic figure accompanied with some type of candy. But the bag doesn't mention anything about there being a plastic figure... :)

Here is some pics of the dino fig I found. I have a few more figs but can't find them right now. The checklist has a dino sticker on the reverse side. The plastic seems to be the same as series 2 figs and it floats.

They look neat.

I'd like to see them for sure, although I have no idea what they would be worth.

Post a pic, and maybe someone will have some idea.

I have a couple unopened packs and loose figs i got from ebay. I paid $3 a pack plus a loose figure.

They are the same ones released in the US under TOPPS - Dinosaur Toy with Candy Eggs
