Saw these in Moose's booth at Toy Fair in February. Wasn't sure they were going to release them since Trash Pack popularity tapered out. Im seeing alot more images though.

What are they?
A combination of Trash Pack, and Shopkins?

Sorry. Not many images out yet. Used what I could.

They are trash pack and shopkins combined. Or just trash pack more food oriented.

Just razzing you, bud! I did a google image search shortly after my snarky comment and realized that yes, there isn't much out there.

I wonder if many collectors complained about replacing Trash Pack with Ugglys Pet Shop. Ugglys didn't seem to do very well in my area.

All the Grossery Gang in that pic look like a rehash of food related Trash Pack figures.

Ugglys didnt do well anywhere. Trash Pack had diminishing returns over the years. Moose just wants to fill every crevice. And so we get Grossary Gang.  Anyone else tired of Moose's designs?

I would like to get some of the bone pets from Ugglys, but the other figures don't interest me.

Each Trash Pack series had a few figures that I liked a lot. I bought a lot more of the Ghosts and Zombies variants of S2 and S3 figures at Target than I bought of any of the last few series.

I would be more interested in their toys if they weren't made of the softest rubber on the planet.

But I agree, their designs are getting boring.

I liked the Ugglys because any gross toy will have same place in my heart no matter how small  . I'm really liking this Grossery Gang though. The food Shopkins have always been my favorite probably because they remind me of the kitschy anthropomorphic food knick knacks of the 50's and 60's, so when you add a bit of grossness into that...well I don't know about anyone else but I'm sold! They also remind me of tiny Food Fighters toys.

Yep, basically looks like a rehash of food-themed Trash Pack under a new name. I'd like to see something fresher and more creative from Moose at this point.

I think they had a hit with Shopkins because the girls toy market hadn't already been over-saturated with that kind of thing. I'd be shocked if they have similar success with Grossery Gang because of all the similar lines that have been marketed toward boys.

I know it wasn't a hit, but at least Mutant Mania was something different and the designs were unique from Moose's usual offerings.

Mutant Mania really got me excited at first till I saw how low quality the sculpting was. Their designs of faces still within their style and not impressive. The issue with them is they valued quantity of characters rather than quality.

Every single Moose line is always going to follow the same formula: characters in six to nine tribes, each character in two or three colour schemes, one or two tribes have gimmicks (sticky/furry/glow-in-the-dark/etc) and then there are a handful of artificially scarce chase figures.

I feel like they ought to mix things up a little, but I suppose it's hard once you've hit upon a successful template to do something different. And let's be honest, even if this is basically a Trash Pack retread, we'll probably still buy some, because we love minifigures.

Now those were quality. Nothing Moose makes today can compare to the love put into designing those.

I wonder what material these will be made out of.

I wish Moose would give up on the "sticky" gimmick figures, for one.

Two, I agree that by standing by the Moose Toys aesthetic, these do wind up looking like Trash Pack rehashes... However, keep in mind that these are being marketed towards kids, and that most of the kids that were into Trash Pack have aged out into other stuff. The target audience for Grossery Gang won't have the old lines in their collective memory.

Still, I'd like to see Moose branch out a little bit, and try their luck at some dinosaurs or something... As long as it's not sticky, brittle, overly stretchy, or have a stupid removable rubber spine.

You know, Moose totally DID do some dinosaur minifigures - Dino Magic! The artwork for those designs was amazing, but the problem is most of the sculpts didn't look nearly as good as those images. Not sure what held them back in that instance, perhaps the modular build design. If a similar line could be done where the final product also matched their art, we could have a really fun minifigure line (with only 2/3 of the line released to retail before it turned out to be a poor seller and the remainder of the series only coming out in Australia or something...).

These remind me of the movie trailer called Sausage Party lool I kind of like these, mostly because of the bright colors, but I'll think twice about buying them if I see the Zomlings locally first (not the same company, but zombies are my priority haha).

I thought the sculpt quality for such a cheap toyline was very good, hence I painted these up.
