Hello! And good morning. I have this gold pvc rifle that I believe I have had since the late 80's, maybe early 90's. I am trying to find out what figure it belongs to.

I vaguely remember a larger, maybe 6" action figure that I often had carrying it. I didnt have many figures of this size, maybe 4-5 and 3 of which I still have. So if my memory serves me correctly, I only had at most another couple figures it could have went to. One of which had a skull head or face and a military style boonie hat or cowboy hat (maybe just a mangled face). I do not recall if the hat was fixed to the head or was an accessory. That unfortunately is all the details I can remember. The gun is unmarked as well.

This is a tough one (I think) and its possible that my details are completely off. So, I am offering a $3 reward (gift via PayPal) to the first person that can correctly and positively identify to which figure this gold gun is an accessory to. Additionally, if the gun DOES NOT belong to the figure that I have described but someone finds out which figure that is, I will award them with $3. If the same person finds both figures (and again, they must be different) I will award them with an additional $2.

I know that $3 (possibly $8) is not a lot of money but I thought it would be a fun incentive. Plus it gives you guys something to do at work on this Friday :)

TEX HEX figure

The gun accessory to this figure had issues keeping on the end of the rifle - and it would often get bent or torn off.  If you remove the end, it looks just like yours.

Here is an auction w/ it complete

Here is a better pic... I wonder if later versions didn't have the rings on the lower half or if those were prone to coming off too?

The rings were def prone to coming off if you wanted to add something to sling the gun across his back. The sculpts differed between sets but that gun stayed the same.

Awesome and thank you! That's him! That certainly did not last long. A whopping 7 minutes lol. And plasticfiend is the obvious winner of this one. Please send me your email/Paypal info and I will get your award to you. I have dozens of other accessories that need identifying so might do some more of these as this one did so well.
