For those of you who collect moc and mib Battle Beasts, how do you display them?

I use Star Cases for the two-packs, the same size as the GI Joe cases, so that works out quite nicely (I collect GI Joe primarily). I was wondering about cases for the eight-packs. I have two of the three unique eight-packs misb and was wondering what, if any, cases you guys use to display yours.

Then, on a general note, I want to think out loud for a moment: I have all of these unopened Battle Beasts, but I don't want my room to get cluttered so none of them are displayed at the moment. That really sucks. Should I take down my GI Joes for awhile and devote the entire room --or at least part a good part of it!-- to my unopened Battle Beasts that I haven't been able to display? Feel free to comment on this 'thinking out loud' if you've gone through a similar thinking process.

First of all...I am mainly a loose mint complete collector now...I discovered that for the amount of $ invested into carded/MIB items, you need to protect your investment a lot more... (Yellow bubbles, creases, water, fading, humidity, etc...) waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too much trouble for me...

I would say display your BB for a few months (just in order to post a photo of your collection for all of us to see), but, keep them in an area that doesn't get much UV light (indirect UV light either)...

I look forward to your collection photos!!!

Hi.

Not to be rude, but I think his unopened collection is displayed horribly. It just looks like it is thrown on top of a table for a picture. I do have to say, however, that he has about twice as much unopened stuff as I have. (He is also actually the reason why I have only two of the three eight-packs! We both bid on them from a collector in Chile. I was able to win mine for $50 each. He was willing to pay more, and ended up with the third.)

When I display my unopened stuff I want it to look really good. Check out a picture of some of my unopened GI Joes attached below to see what I'm talking about.

My unopened Battle Beasts collection consists of around 100 unopened figures. I have two eight-packs, around forty two-packs, one unopened Bandolier, one unopened Japanese Tiger Chariot, and, finally, one unopened Laser Beasts Fire Chariot with the Sky Bat.

I would love, absolutely love, to display my unopened stuff. I love the artwork. But, as a college student, my space is kind of limited. I look forward to the day when I am finished with school, move into a large house and can display my many unopened collections.

Actually, I think that is exactly what both these collectors did...they merely wanted to show what they had not necessarily what they had, however, I only know of these 2 MIB/MOC collections...most everyone else collects mainly loose with maybe a few MIB/MOC pieces...

Your GIJOE collection looks sweet.

Just my 2 cents.

Doesn't matter how big your house is, there's never enough room. ;)
You just end up collecting more toys, I will take some pics of my basement. It's pinheaded, I have one room that is full from floor to ceiling of boxes and boxes of toys and video games. my garage is full too, I think I may be a packrat. I think I may have to start selling some of it off. I'll probably start with my video game collection, seeing as I never play with any of it. I collected boxed stuff before, but now I will only go after boxed stuff if the art on the box is really cool. Like the Battle VS Laser Beast set, i really like the box design. The nice thing about Laser Beast stuff, is it really doesn't change the price a lot for boxed items.

Eaon is soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo correct...on all 3 accounts!!!

#1 Once you have a house.............you DO just start collecting more...just ask jkaris!!!

#2 It is true that MIB doesn't really change the price too much as mint loose complete. In fact, it is just as hard to find a mint loose complete BB/LB as it is a MIB/MOC one (with a few exceptions).

#3 Weeding out/thinning out your collection once a year or so, is a healthy way to keep your collection under control...I just got rid of ALL my NEO-SW stuff and am keeping only my mint loose complete vintage collection.

I would LOVE to see photos of your complete GI JOE collection and then your complete BB/LB collection!!!

Eaon, I would LOVE to see your BB/LB collection too!!!

Thanks, man. Quite frankly I am sick of amateur GI Joe collectors buying stupid new troop builder packs and taking pictures of their armies like it's something special. My reaction to that is, "wow, you can spend money and drive to Walmart or Toyrus!". Anyway, I won't carry on about that.

I am really anxious to go move some stuff around and see how it turns out.

Thanks again for the compliment.
