Why does this peru wolf look like crap...?

Yeah, they're all pretty terrible. Yet for some reason they fetch big $$$, who the hell knows why. Certainly not the quality of the workmanship, that's for sure.

I had almost convinced myself it was a bootleg of some kind. Or it was slightly microwaved by the seller.

Well at least that knocks a bunch of werewolf figures off my list of wants.

I think that Peru's hallowen figures are slightly better than the 93 edition. They have less distortion. But do not expect great detail either. its have their charm.

Most of the Peru figures look pretty goofy but I can't help find a certain charm in their crappiness. They're sort of like regular MIMP's ugly cousins. I'd like some but I'm not rushing to pay the prices they're currently going for.

Small, no. Shitty, yes.
Sonrics are about the same size as Matchbox figures give a smidge or 2, But alot of them have flashing and/or are distored.

The sonrics figures are lower quality compared with the matchbox, some with bent or discolored, but there are many worthwhile.

I attached are some photos, it can be seen that are not so bad.

Not sure if realize but the Peru figures are tiny compared to any other MIMP figures so the detail is going to be lacking & they're not even exact scaled down copies of the original sculpt designs in most cases anyway. Personally i love them for their novelty value but they do go for too much money but i am constantly forced to overspend when people want the same figure. :(

I think the Peruvian MIMPs are cool even if they are the inbred cousins of the originals. The Ebay prices on the older series are pretty insane though.

I get it now i just didn't realize they were so deformed.

If they were priced normally i would still collect them but for THOSE prices i demand some better details. Which is good, means more little peru guys for people like you who love them.

I present some figures halloween Peru, and their counterparts matchbox. Only in the first picture you can see the great beast matchbox-sonrics-Peruvian.

I really think that the quality of the Peruvian figures is not that bad, considering its small size.

Slightly off-topic but I wish the pics on Ebay were this good. Makes each MIMP look like Godzilla (Go Go Godzilla!)
