I found this in my box of dinosaurs from my childhood that I rediscovered in the attic today he looks like Gigan from Godzilla but he has 2 fingers instead of blades, 2 toes instead of pointing feet and the face is different. Any ideas?

yeah the [whomever they are] is what I want to know Dx the only thing on him is "Made in China" on his foot. Maybe he is just a knock off of Gigan? Made to look close enough to identify him as Gigan but with some differences to avoid any copyrights problems?

The Company was called Imperial.

They made 2 sizes of Godzilla. One in 5 inches and one in 12 inches. I assume the same is true of Gigan. I've seen one recently I think...in a local toyshop. I need to re-check. I have both a 5 inch and 12 inch Goji. The 5 inch Goji I got had a tag around its neck with poster art from Godzilla 1985.

Imperial has a visible trademark on all their figures that can't be missed. A lot of companies have imitated their style and ripped off or modified their sculpts over the years. If "Gigan" doesn't have an Imperial stamp on his foot or anywhere else, it's probably not by them.

In any case, the "pre-cyborg Gigan" and the accompanying "Godzilla" with the shark fins are unlicensed figures that have been around for some time. The shark-fin Godzilla is definitely a modified version of one of the official Imperial Godzillas. I've seen the Gigans in stores as late as the days when KB Toys closed its doors, and may have encountered them a couple times since in various TRUs but can't confirm that.

I expect no less than absolute schooling from a man with such a sexy SEXY Baltan pic as a signature. Why, I'm rubbing my crotch area and pinching my nipples right now as I gaze upon it.

Even besides the pic, BaltanII is a fiend when it comes to identifying obscure toys!

Fair enough. I haven't collected in like a 150 years, LOL. Glad to have a more knowledgeable resource on hand. :D

I found a "Gigan", like the one pictured above, at a yard sale today for a quarter.
His paint apps aren't nearly as heavy though, which actually makes him look better to me.

I already had the 5 inch Imperial Godzilla, and this "Gigan" fig does lack the little crown marking.
In fact, I can't find any markings on it.
Not even a "Made in China".

BaltanII is a monster, and holy crap, how did nipples come into play in the conversation? Sheesh.
