Hey, gang! Inspired by the mass of flesh colored plastic in MIWP's pic of his collection, I'd like to start a new feature on my site displaying everybody's MUSCLE collections. What I need is...

1) One or more pictures of your collection (maybe even with you in it).
2) An account of how large your collection is.
3) A brief narrative describing your MUSCLE collecting (maybe include why you started collecting, why you enjoy it, etc... whatever you feel appropriate).

I actually tried to do this a few years ago, but there was no support for it. Maybe now a significant number of people will respond. If you're interested, just e-mail me at ndnewell@hotmail.com or PM me. Thanks!

Cool idea! My collection is very new and will pale in comparison with the collections of the majority of you guys. But, I'd post a couple of pics of my collection.

yeah, i'll second that motion.
my collection is just getting re-started... i have shtloads of the new ones, but that doesn't really count... you don't really have to hunt those down, once you've found them. for the old school ones... they're a bit tougher...

i'll try to get my sister to help me get a picture up...
other than standard surfing/typing/adobe illustrator, i am computer illiterate.
but it's a great idea, tortle...

it won't be perfect quality , but at least they will be there
or even a scanner with a poloroid

I'm glad I'm getting a good response! Anyway, you can include anything Kinnikuman or MUSCLE related. That means: old toys, new toys, DVDs, VHS tapes, cards, t-shirts (for those who still have those shirts from Stepback), custom items (which I love to see), CDs, keychains, bootlegs, shampoo bottles... ANYTHING that has some sort of MUSCLE, Kinnikuman, and/or Ultimate Muscle connection.

A suggestion: have fun with your pictures! You could make some dioramas or something with your figures (maybe a MUSCLE army vs. an Imperial Army... Veers?). Or not... the point is, the more fun you have taking your pictures, the more fun people will have looking at them.

And no, there's no deadline. It will be pretty much a continuous feature (because I also want people to be able to update their collection pics), so take your time.

I will definitely try to do this also. It sounds like a cool idea. I have to take some pictures of all my M.U.S.C.L.E. stuff, and then I will email you. I'm pretty busy with school and work, so it might be a few days, but I will definitely make this happen!

Since I'm new to MUSCLE, I'll just wait. I'll post the pics of my collection once my e-bay auctions that I'm bidding get done. So currently I have no collection. But when I do get my MUSCLEs, I try to make some kind og good formation and send it to you.

veers man, go to your local library and odds are you will find a scanner to use for free, from there you can email the pic to yourself or wherever. I know that every college library i've been in (UNC, Wake Forest) have a scanner that is open for anyone to use. Might have less luck at a city library, but its worth a try.

I think that is an awesome idea Nathan. I will get some pics to you this weekend. Let us know when you have this section of the site up, I'd love to see other peoples collections as well.

Warsman, you are a total stud, I love that mask. I also envy your hair with my mandatory shavedness.

I don't care about the screen size (I can alter that if it's a problem), but since my mailbox has a limit of about 1.2 MEG, please limit the file size of your email to about 300K. If you can't get the pictures down that small, just let me know and I'm sure we can figure something out. I'm anxious to get this feature up and running!

Well as you must have seen when it comes to Transformers, that's the impressive collection (all bow to my TFs ), but alas my Muscle collection is rather small (and size does matter ) So give me some time to build up something worth your webspace dear Tortle.

I took a movie clip of my collection since its all on display and spans across a wall-shelf. You could never see it all in a picture. Its online at www.robotube.com/muscle.mpg. It starts off shaky but smooths out. (Yes, that is a dark green Claw and it's not a bootleg. It was a Kinkeshi re-release that I got in Japan. They came out in the early to mid 90's.) Also, toward the end, you will see a group of pale pink figures next to the group of blue ones. Those guys are REALLY weird bootlegs that I found in my room a few weeks back.

Webmasters of MUSCLE or Kinnikuman pages may download this movie and use it on your page, or you can take stills of it as well if you see something in there interesting...just give me a little credit on the page.

That truly was pretty damn sweet if I do say so myself. I never knew the kendaman romandoh was so damn huge, he dwarfed buffalo man. I love all the unique stuff.
