I'm wondering if reducing the color range might help reduce the price too. Going with just four standard colors rather than every available color would certainly be cheaper, would it not?

Ok Guys more news about the "16 missing figures" Project
The price will be lower with less colours choice but not so much; about only 2 $ U.S. less for each figure. So the price will be around 60$ each one.
Anyway Rich wants to start with just four figures cast in four colours at first.
So please, follow me on this. Now I have to start a poll to understand better which figures are good to start, looking at future purchases by you.

Please let me know your 4 favorite figures to create for the first batch of MIMP's "Missing 16" Limited Edition Series

I'd buy all 4 at $2 a piece
I don't care which 4 if he plans to produce all 16 eventually at similar pricing.
Big difference from $100 a piece
why such a dramatic change in price?

Well...guess it couldn't hurt to at least try. My four picks: Headless Man, Grendel, Sciapod, Troll.

Something to bring up though: couldn't Bash Tchelik replace Ankou in the run so the gaps are still filled without any overlap with series 4? Reason I mention this is because series 4's "Grave Watcher" is an Ankou already, and a straight up progression from Blemmyea -> Charun would be nice to boot.

This is getting interesting! I reckon I'd pay $60 for them, no probs. Can I assume that if there are only going to be 4 colours, that they will be the series 3 colours? That would be great. And if we're voting on hard or soft plastic, I'd definately vote soft. I love the idea that these guys might fit in well with the originals!

Ah yes, forgot about Bash Tchelik... he looks great. My 4 votes would probably be:

1. Bash Tchelik
2. Talus
3. Jabalius
4. Grendel

(Though I'd be happy to see Djinn, Boggart and Troll too...)

I'd agree with keywolf, $60 is starting to look a lot better. Though how many people are going to try getting the 15 figures in each different colour, cos I know a lot of people collect the figures in all the colours they were available rather than just a set in any old colour. That might increase the amount of figures to be ordered? I don't know if I'd want to pay out for them all in each colour as although it was be awesome it'll be a pretty big amount to pay and not everyone here has money to burn like one guy on ebay I can think of. Just my thoughts, anyone after going for them all in each colour?

Probably to much for me, but I would love to see some pictures in how they are made.

Give one monster a star, then watch ebay rocket in price for it.

I'd rather just see point values for them all myself, the star monster seems something better to remain as a "it may exist out there somewhere" item.

Absolutely agree with you man,
none of the 16 missing monsters will have stars on the back; I'll order to the artist to do just point value figures.
The Stars monster has to remain unique... always if exists.

Gorm, what's the time frame exactly for this? And would payment be required up front? The reason I'm asking is because if the project is to be completed months from now, that heavily softens the blow on many of our wallets as we can set aside X amount of dollars towards it from each paycheck, instead of one big gaping hole in our wallets (or worst, on our credit cards which means interest eating us alive).

I'm excited about this but wary on the pricing. I don't mind paying a lot for my mimp but nothing crazily astronomical.

It seems we all want different figures as well which is awkward.

I'd want Catarenha, Hodag, Jabalius & Sciapod.

Troll is too nondescript & feels like a S1 sculpt to me, same as headless man & Hieracosphinx. Talos would be a like kinda blocky boring S2 fig & Banshee isn't worth it as it's very similar to the Siren sculpt.
I like the idea of a Hairy boggart but don't think that would sculpt well.

I think That Djinn Shapeshifter Would be an interesting figure to be Made because his complexity I mean would be a challenge for the artist

Don´t think the same when you´re seeing the illustration? :S

Bash Tchelik Would be great Sculpture
The Electronic Monster Too but it´s a shame that there´s no illustration of him :/(maybe if we contact with Sheets & Heo :p)

Looking at this poll is almost sure Grendel will be the first one figure to be created...
Indeed I'm agree. Will be definitely a very very cool sculpt!

Gorm, have you sorted out the numbers/point values applied to each, out of curiosity? I still hold that Ankou might be better ditched in favor of Bash for reasons mentioned above.

To clarify just in case, it's $60 per monster currently, not the whole set. :X
