Hi guys (and girls?)

I’m new to this forum (Dabuu send me an email, thanx Dabuu!) so I thought it would be nice to introduce myself.

My name’s Mark, I’m 23 years old and a big fan of the battle beasts toyline since my early childhood. Since a month I’m trying to complete my collection.

I’m from the Netherlands (hence the crappy English, feel free to correct me  ) where only the Battle Beasts series 1 were released. As a child I soon got the whole bunch complete and those little guys were my favorites for many years. I even got two laserbeasts when I went on a holiday to France once (wow, I remember how I couldn’t believe my eyes when I first saw them, never knowing of their exictense)Unfortunately, I lost a lot of them (jealous, thieving kid neighbours, I hate those guys!).

But now, thanks to Ebay and other sites, I’m reliving my childhood fantasies, trying to complete my collection. As I said, I’ve been doing this for a month or so and before that time, never even knew there where series 2 and 3 beasts :D Now I’m near completing series 2 and starting with series 3 (just got the pointer and the pangolin by mail!)

Well, that’s most of the story “in shortâ€￾ I guess

To complete my introduction, I thought it would be nice to present a list of my collection, my needs and my extra’s (only available for trade, nor for sale.)

Here it is:

MY COLLECTION:

COMPLETE:
#03 Ferocious Tiger
#10 Roamin' Buffalo
#14 Swiny Boar

#33 Major Moose
#39 Dragoon Raccoon
#40 Antic Anteater
#61 Pixilated Pointer
#87 Shool

WITHOUT WEAPON:
#26 Bighorn Sheep

#32 Humongous Hippo
#37 Wolfgang Walrus
#43 Cutthroat Cuttlefish
#44 Eager Beaver
#45 Slasher Sea Horse
#52 Pew-trid Skunk

NEEDS:

Most of all I’m interested in any series 3 complete battlebeasts (except for #61 Pixilated Pointer and #65 Tanglin’ Pangolin).

The lower numbered Laser Beasts are also within my budget, the higher ones are just too expensive for a “poorâ€￾ student like me

Series 1 #19 Prickly Porcupine and #20 Sawtooth Shark (complete) are also interesting to me, because the ones I have, both miss an arm.

Weapons and beasts in better condition than mine are of the least importance to me.

I have no exclusives, chariots, playsets or other rare items and am not planning to collect them in the near future.

EXTRA’S:
(only for trade, not for sale)

WITH RUBSIGN, NO WEAPON:
#03 Ferocious Tiger
#33 Major Moose

WITH WEAPON, NO RUBSIGN:
#21 Danger Dog
#38 Powerhouse Mouse

WITHOUT RUBSIGN, NO WEAPON:
#01 Pirate Lion
#04 Colonel Bird
#05 Killer Carp
#06 Triple Threat Snake
#08 Sledgehammer Elephant
#10 Roamin' Buffalo
#14 Swiny Boar
#18 Rubberneck Giraffe
#21 Danger Dog
#22 Hare Razing Rabbit
#24 War Weasel (2)
#25 Bloodthirsty Bison
#26 Bighorn Sheep
#28 Crusty Crab
#36 Octillion Octopus
#41 Run Amuck Duck
#46 Knight Owl
#47 Hunchback Camel

LOOSE WEAPON:
#07 Horny Toad
#09 Rocky Rhino

That’s it!

Thanks for reading, hope it is of any use for you guys!

Greets,

Mark (markderoos)

Ahoi!

I`m not certain this Thread is in the correct place, but none the less welcome.

It`s fascinating, that though the BBs were not really popular (at least around here) and only little figures with quite limited movability (does this term exist?), they were for those who possessed them among the most beloved and used toys.

I think, they let much room for any child`s fantasy.
