Thanks, I read on a Japanese board last night that the rest of the pictures had the tiger and the alligator. Here is a pic of part of the flier (for some reason they only scanned the most worthless page!)

So the tiger is named Goldar just like in Beastformers, so that's at least 2 carry over names so far. (Goldar and Big Serrow)

Ok- I am ecstatic. But can you tell us exactly what we're looking at? I assume we are all guessing a bit...

Are these prototypes? Are they Takara? Are they gonna release them for sure? Are they the same size as BBs? Are they gonna be fully-painted like the original BBs? Will they have rubs and weapons? Will they only be available in Japan?

My hopes are WAY up!!

I think the only thing we know is that they are from Takara\Tomy. That's on the first lion picture that lord posted in this thread.

As I can't read japanese I will just answer what I know or understand from the pics.

They certainly are but I can't be 100% sure.

Are they Takara?
Yes they are! You can clearly see the Takara-Tomy logo on the page.

Are they gonna release them for sure?
Wait and see. Things are never sure until they happen.

Are they the same size as BBs?
I would guess yes. But not sure.

Are they gonna be fully-painted like the original BBs?
Certainly. Those are just here to reveal the figures. They are certainly not the final product.

Will they have rubs and weapons?
I would say yes for the weapon and no for the rubs. It seems that they will have another feature more accurate with what could be seen in the manga.

Will they only be available in Japan?
If they are named Beast Saga and not Beastformers or Battle Beasts I hope that it's due to the copyright no longer owned by Hasbro. With this name the line could be released all around the world with the same name. So I would guess YES but can't be sure.

These look pretty awesome- more in line with the originals but zazzy and new. I just hope they are released in North America (and wherever everyone else lives, ha ha).

Think it's a coincidence that Takara is releasing information on them the same month that Diamond reveals their new "Battle Beasts"?

I think I just wet myself...oh nevermind its raining outside and I just got home to see this news. They are awesome sculpts, it only makes sense that the company that made Battle Beasts in the first place would do a new toyline of it the right way. I just hope those things come to the states as well, otherwise gonna be spending a fortune to import em.

I'm thinking it's some kind of pop-out thing in the chest. The grooves are deep. Maybe a part fits in.

It would of been far simpler to do the rub sign route, but I guess Takara wants more than that, since he isn't necessarily going the nature element path either. Maybe those extracted cubes could be a dice and you roll your dice against another one to see who wins the battle, although its seems to square to be a dice, so idk. It could just be a simple projectile that launches from a trigger on the back of the figure. To me removing a large cube out of those small figures, makes me wonder if these figures will be very sturdy. Only time will tell I guess.

Well from this pic it looks like they are shooting a Cube out, so yeah im guessing they will have something like that in them.
