Check out this new line. I think it's pretty cool. The toys remind me of Virus Attack!

I believe some of them are sticky, which isn't ideal, but we'll see. I bought one of the petri dish-themed two packs today and will open it shortly.

Those look awesome. Too bad they're "slimy and squishy". I'd have made an effort to go for them, if they were firmer material... Who wouldn't love disease toys?

I also wish they weren't slimy and spongy!

Some of those figures are pretty friggin' sweet though

Yup there really sticky all of them are and will pick up any hairs or dirt in seconds why waste such amazing sculpts on a toy that punishes you for opening it. They do not look like sticky toys in the packaging either.

Is they anyway with these toys like these to remove the sticky at all?

I love the canister container. Sadly like the others on here, i'm disappointed in them being squishy

The larger figure with the Canister is NON sticky rubber very similar to a trash pack figure sadly all canisters come with the same sculpt just in a few different colours it also comes with no petri dishes but can hold 4.

I can't find them. I went to Toysrus and the associate said they looked it up and got nothing. I couldn't find them on Amazon either. It does say "coming soon" on the website though. Where did you get yours Strontium Dog?

Strontium Dog is in the UK.  So far this seems to be another UK exclusive toyline. I emailed Vivid and asked if there were plans of getting these to the US and I got no response.

Interesting that Vivid as a brand is a whole different industry in the US.  I would not advise starting a company called Vivid selling rubber toys.

I also can't look at this thread without recalling the first album from Incubus circa 1995!

Seriously this could have been one of my top three or four favorite lines of all time, just looking at the designs and concept, if it wasn't sticky. I'd still buy some and maybe display them in jars forever like I do Virus Attack, but still, some day they'll degrade no matter what.

Is there a contact email so we can beg for more non-sticky figures next time

If people are interested, these were designed by my friends from Triclops Studios, you might know their B.A.S.T.A.R.D's.

I've just started collecting these, they're quite good, granted I was a little put off with them being sticky and stretchy but I think it's made from the same material as those baby aliens you used to get in the egg pods.

I found one of those aliens in my attic not so long back, must've been up there for near 10-15 years, and it still looks quite new and still sticky so my theory is these little FunGuys will last a long time too and could be stored in a glass cabinet showcase, (that's what I plan to do)

My advice, buy a set and see what you think, they're not that expensive, £6.00 for the 5 character Vac Pack and £2.50 for a  2 character Petri Dish.

I plan to get some more soon so I'll have some for swaps.

Oh and they're all sticky and stretchy. Some of them glow in the dark too.

The companies name is called Vivid Imaginations, they have a twitter account too, I collect these Fungus AmungUs and have alot of them and I mean ALOT got loads of the petri dishes and I'm only a few away from completing the batch #1 series, I'll open up a new topic and see if any others collect them and see if they want to trade with a few I have.

This is a really cool line I think. I like the material, it seems fitting for the subject. Squishy but not as sticky as wall crawlers or sticky hands, not that I would complain if they were. They remind me of the germs toys I used to have that came in test tubes.
