Hey all, most newbies will have no idea what I am talking about. But I finally got some info on the evil most pwoeful rare muscle blue zord. As mentioned before I could never find the Octopuss Dragon in any of the manga, so in a recent deal with my friend Taka, he sent me one of the Kinnikuman movies. The whole movie was about the Octopuss dragon (Blue Zord). Come to find out the dude is green. He was a leader of all of these bad arse dudes. He was in charge of all sorts of cool characters that I could not find in the manga. For example the football dude, or a few of the dragon looking dudes, and the bald guy that looks like him with his fist raised in fury etc... I might do some sort of write up on the movie and take pics if I can to put in my bios pages because I have wanted to do one for a long time on Zord. Just wanted to let you guys know I finally learned something about him. I thought the Kinnikuman movies were the same stories as the mangas, i guess I was totally wrong.

On a side not, sorry my recent bios have not been completed yet, but hopefully soon. Sorry. Later tricks.

that's a very cool idea & for all the original muscleheads out there a great topic.
For many of us including myself the zord figure #68 was often referred to as the leader of the bad guy's , so it's very interesting to know many of us picked the right figure for the job.

please do tell more when you know.

That's interesting that Zord is actually green. Even more interesting is that I don't think he was ever made in green as a M.U.S.C.L.E., just like the Claw is probably either non existant or super rare in magenta. I have seen every #68 except for red and green. Why would Mattel do this? It probably just happened out of chance and random color choice.

I think the article about the Blue Zord was one of the first things I read when I got back into MUSCLE collecting. It's interesting to finally learn something real about him.

When i match my muscles up in my custom rings the rules are, over the top rope
2 outa 3 times is the loser.

Figures such as zord have the weight behind there muscle to back themselves up.

Even before the legend of the Blue Zord ever existed, he was always the leader of my M.U.S.C.L.E. figures back in the day when I only had a collection of around 100 and had no idea about ebay.

yup, once I intitially found my Zord in the dirt next door, he was instantly propeled to the top of my bad guys' chain of command

as much as i like my zord (mine happens to be dark blue) i always imagine that sunshine is the leader of all the baddies.

This is cool. I think we have had a topic like this before. I never had good and bad teams. I had tag teams, and singles matches. Similar to Johnny's site Kinnikumuscle wrestling. I used to take a few handfuls of guys and started fighting them until only one remained. They would have single elimination matches and semi finals and everything. The champ always was automatically entered into the next tournament by default, and rarely did the champ (Usually Zebra man, Big the Budo #73, or Goriki #63) lose his title, I had the same champ for almost a year once just caused I loved big the budo so much. Every once in awhile there would be an upset by Big Body, Kinnikuman, or Mariposa. Sunshine was never really a contender even though he has always been my favoite, just cause I always figured a dude made out of bricks could not get up easy if pinned. Oh man, those were the days.

hahahahaha....I was the same way. For me it was #184 (Mouth of the South) that was almost always victorious.
