It was bought the most rapidly from the stores, played with the most, and then destroyed the most by kids because it was a functional top. Then they got older, and melted/blew it up.

Our glorious Milky Way is a tiny, infinitesimal speck of sand in this vast, incomprehensible universe. And somewhere in that Milky Way is our own solar system, less than one billionth of that speck of sand that is the Milky Way. And then there is our planet Earth, one hundred trillionth of that one billionth of that one speck of sand. And on this planet Earth there is DEV-0, an insignificant blemish with a lifespan too short to measure when placed in infinite time.

And you are here, with them, as so many specks of sand.

I don't know how rare it is, however, I am in the process of making a mold of him along with a kick a$$ base (with a huge star on it, the center being a hole to insert the top's point into)!!! The base will be cast in crystal clear as not to distract from the figure. The figure with base will sell for $20, however, I will sell bases individually for $10 if their is an interest. I have all ready tested the base with the actual figure and man does it look kick a$$. No more #195's laying on their sides and rolling all around!!! He! He! He!

yep, that's my suspicion, too. simply that a "top" has a wider appeal than a "little pink wrestler dude" does.

Keep in mind that the star bases will be crystal clear. I thought the star was cool because it was similar to the Sunshine's burst, however, I think that these stands could be painted and also used with other figures that you wanted to make more noticable. I have a great idea for inserting a clear plexiglass rod into the hole and then using those clear rubber band ties that SW figures have around their light sabers in the blisters, you could wrap the small clear rubber band around your figures' waists and to the pole inserted in the hole running up the back of the figure.
Just an idea!!!

Oh, I think the clear figures would look pretty neat. But I think that Glow in the Dark ones would be really bad arse .

195 is definitely pretty rare, or should I say uncommon. I think it has to do with the shape being so conducive to play, and therefore, loss and damage.

As far as #195's rareness goes, I think it was produced about as much as #189 and the other figures that do not show up as often, and seem to be less plentiful than the rest. This may be why we see less of these rarer figures.

As far as that base custom for the #195, I think it is a cool idea, and I can't wait to see what wonders you will be able to do with it Marty. I think if you make the customs and the stands for the #195 in the same color, they will look sweet as hell! I can't wait to see how they turn out!

Maybe it's just another case of "supply and demand"

i'm sure they were made in the same numbers when first released
but being more popular because of it's fuction made it "rare " over time.

Marty if you read this, youve given me a KILLER IDEA for the base!!! e+

Make it a regular CLEAR base with a figure right at the center where it would be drilled!!!! That would look sooooo freaking cool to see that mold use "its move" on someone. Boy does that sound wrong. e+ Really though I know that mold would be HOT :woot:

Plus it could have either the top or the pyrimid and would sell like hot cakes, well not hot cakes but you get the idea! Plus you dont even damage the mold since its intombed in plastic.

That's a great idea, however, why not take a regular figure and dremell a small hole in the belly of the figure so the top rests in the hole and looks like he is using his move on the figure on his back!?!

I could very easily intomb a meat or a SD Kinnkeshi in it!!!

Since I know some of your other molds weren't as successful, perhaps you could use those as well. I mean, that way, the extra figs of those get some sort of use.

Actually,
I have been using the bug as a freebie with $100+ orders and Doc's B-day gift!

The Brocken wasn't a fast seller at first, however, lately I have been selling some and I only have 4 left and I think only 4 bugs left.

I could try putting a bug in a #195.

Thanks for the idea,

Yea, the thing with the brocken is that peopel would rather have other molds (but i find that the coolest of the choices available) Its just taht some people (like me) dont have the money who like it. Damn stores not hireing now :stupid:

Guess its a wait till I get back to school (watch I miss it there at the school too or they dont have the spots available when I am free  )

:edit: if I spend over 100, never send me a bug, I detest that mold (personal taste).

Heh, I know. I just cannot get to the stuff I want to part with. Last time I went to storage, my parents yelled at me for not putting away the stuff properly. :stupid: Sometimes they are full of crap because I did, its just an excuse to not let me go there. And I DO have TONS of stuff to get rid off too
