Wait a minute! I don't remember you posting a #15, a #60, #189 or a #72! I think when you get a chance you need to post single photos of them too!!!

Thanks for posting those! God damn you do nice work! I am gonna say this, "Your work is as good as Joe Gibbs, if not better!"

That is my opinion!!!

Keep it up!

Thanks alot you's guys!!! I'll try to get something painted in the near future...but I'm also working on a sweet t-shirt! When I finish the design, I'll post it to see if anyone would be interested in buying one...or five.

Max, keep it up. Go spend $20 on some new brushes and more paint, and you'll be coming along soon enough.

 Thanks but first ill need to get some doubles :D Ive just sold most of mine. Curriously did you paint the whole thing one color and then take a thick brush to paint the outside (talking about sunshine). Ive tryed that before on a figure or two and its never ever worked for me.

Edit: I cant believe I almost forgot, It was you and gibbs who made me think, "IF they can do it, why cant I?" So I tryed it...

If I'm understanding your question correctly, Max, the answer is no. I painted him one color, then did a wash. Then I did highlights individually on each and every brick.

Don't want to step on feet, however, a dry brush technique would give you a worn brick look and depth!

For those that are not familar with "Drybrushing," You put paint on your brush and brush it out on a paper towel or sheet of paper, then you rub the "dry brush" over the figure. Because it is not oozing with paint, it only leaves a textured or worn look giving depth to the surface and not in the cracks!!! ***WARNING*** The brush must NOT have much paint on it (at least wet paint), it should look and feel totally dry! Experiment, if when you try, nothing comes off, try not brushing so much off, however, it is easier to add more paint and if you start off with too much, it will basically paint over everything and then the only thing to do is paint over that, or wash the entire figure clean and start over!!! If you paint over these figures too much, you will loose detail, so just make sure you follow the "less is more" theory!!!

I hope this helps and doesn't step on feet,

Yeah, I know about dry brushing but sunshine was my first... :D and I was just a little nervous and I didn't think about it.
