Matthew actually already has it documented in the Toypedia TMNT entry. It's my favorite TMNT mini fig. :woot:

holy cow!! how did you see that little guy in that picture??
i am glad you figured it out, i know i had wasted WAY too many hours looking for it! i did 'em all, toxic's every tmnt figure, earthworm jim...every freekin action figure i could think of!
:D

so,,what is he,,does he have a name? and is he a snake? (a snake with warts?!?!?)

about a week ago i thought i only needed 2 - its up to 8 now...
damnit
:D

I know how you feel - I looked EVERYWHERE for that guy and then it turned out to be on one of the first sites I'd originally looked on!

so 8 now for you, if all my deliveries arrive I'm down to 2 or 3 (unpainted) companion figures needed....you must find some comfort though in the fact that you have the one that came with Scratch! That HAS to be the hardest one to find - or at least the most expensive!

I think the Goggle set may have a silver bug as well - I hope it's just as cool :p

So I have been contemplating selling the blue snake guy. I don't really have my TMNT companion figs displayed. They are just in a storage box and I would kind of like it to go somewhere that it would be displayed.

What do you guys think is best format to use? Everyone PMing me offers? Hold an auction here? List it on Ebay? I don't know for sure that I am selling it yet but any feedback or ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks ;)

Holy crap, I never thought I'd see those Turtle figures again. The two in the back of that "message," I mean. Hollow, right? Came with frozen treats?

It may have been candy, and I'm just confusing my TMNT merch. There was so much of it out there, after all!

Those graham cracker or cookie containers/banks were kinda cool too, albeit not little or rubber.

It was candy, for sure. I have a couple of them floating around here somewhere.

The two green snakes with the human-shaped heads came with this big castle playset i used to have when i was little. The castle itself was a big metal rectangle that folded up and had a handle for carrying it. It came with a bunch of different knights, some blue wizards, these snakes, catapults that shot tiny plastic rocks, and some other stuff. I believe one side of the castle had a drawbridge that could be pulled up via little tiny chains.

I can't remember exactly what it was called or who made it though, sorry. :D

Man, now i really miss that thing...so much sharp metal and tiny objects....

looks like thes are now identified!

Check out Mr Scythemantis' great post (in particular the link):

"Dungeons and Dragons" history time!

Co-creator Gary Gygax based several monsters directly off generic toys he had used as visual aid in testing out the game:

The Naga illustration from the same book is also identical to the naga from these molds. Same pose and everything.

I touch upon two of the more famous examples here:

The brown bunny thing is the letter X from a series of Alphabet Critters. I've seen them around.
