A friend of ours is a FLASH fan and we made this balloon for him. I say that it's "FLASHY" because if you watch the video... You can see the balloon blinking on and off because we put a light inside the body of the balloon.

And then of course the cat jumps into the video frame...

Very cool. How long does a balloon figure like this usually last? LOL at the cat. It's name should be Flash. It just appeared very suddenly. Must have hopped up on the table.

That's exactly what it did lol... she loves the balloons.  Popping them, that is.  And she isn't scared either... it's sometimes difficult making them or working on new designs without her clawing them.

 

The life-span of a balloon is pretty random, but I expect that one to last a few days.  The more complex the balloon and the more twists in the balloon make it more vulnerable for leaks and gradual deflation.  Sometimes we do a design that has a a balloon inside of a balloon and we have had customers tell us that they have lasted a couple of weeks.  Balloons such as the FLASH have a LED light, along with a tiny battery.  Those generate a tiny bit of HEAT... which will affect the life span of the balloon causing it to deflate sooner.  Sometimes that can be mitigated by putting a clear balloon around the LED before putting it into the outside balloon.

 

The short answer is: somewhere between a couple hours and a couple weeks lol...
