saw that "tmnt" thread, and it reminded me about these.

i have a set of 49 of these. i assume i might have lost one somewhere, or there are more to be had.

they're all painted. some of the characters are VERY tiny, but some of the larger characters are about the same size of the original m.u.s.c.l.e. figures, or even the new figures. they're not bendy at all, and pretty much feel the same as the new guys.

anyone else have these, remember them, or have any idea where i can find out more about them online?

I might be mistaken, but my comic store had a tin of these DBZ figures that were pink like MUSCLES. Didn't know if I was imagining it or if you guys had seen them also.

weird. i have 49.

I seem to remember different sizes of those small Dragonball Z figures. Some were comparable to MUSCLEs in size, but some were actually smaller and part of a completely different assortment. It sounds like Toyman has the smaller DBZ figures, while Warsman has the larger, MUSCLE-size figures. DragonBallToys.com may have pictures... I didn't look into it in much detail.

well, i'm pretty sure that all of the figures i have are all from one set, and that they're as small as can be.

i do remember similar figures of a larger size, say 3 inches tall or so.

There are many painted pvc DBZ figures both big like muscles and smaller. There was a set of individually bagged figures you could get at Suncoast, Comic Book Stores, and Video Game Stores (they were a little smaller than the ones in Warsman's cartoon). By the way, pretty funny cartoon man! There were also super rare DBZ figures that were unpainted in a little stiffer than eraser rubber and several different colors. Some had diecast gold and silver armor you could put on them. The way this worked is the figure had a super tiny hole in the chest, then there would be a "male end" pin on the inside of the armor that you would push into the hole. It would hold the armor in place. I had a boxed set, however, when I could get $50 for the set of 4 figures, I sold it!
I hope this helps.
