It looks pretty cool... but again, I'm going to have to see what the paint jobs are like. Sure, they SAY he'll be black... but then they'll probably give him neon green detailing or something pinheaded like that. The transformation looks pretty easy, but the lack of articulation bothers me. I know that the RiD toys were impossible to transform, but why can't they just use those ball-in-socket joints in Armada?

And finally: Wheeljack is a BAD GUY now? What's the hell is going on with continuity?!

Anyway, I guess I'll just have to see the production toy. Given the current toys, I'm pessimistic with anything in the Armada line.

There is none, that's the point. But hey, every so often I get a killer new TF mold to display on my TF shelf, so I'm not complaining (not now anyways, haha).

They want to faze out the ball joint TFs for a bit due to it's secondary market, notice that it's pretty easy for kids to loose arms and legs for Beast Wars toys. But with Armada you would have to bust off the arm.

Armada is an alt. world, same with Car Robots (RID) so in these series it could happen and ofcourse the sliced Autobot ensign is the neatest thing on the Wheeljack. Though with the series all I can ask is when did the 'cons get all those mini-cons, most of them haven't even hit stores yet. (man hope can find them)


Right now the biggest gripe I have with the show is, Jetfire's smass voice. He reminds me more of Hot Rod then Hotshot, Blurr and Smokescreen any time.

Just wish so many new molds weren't coming out, a bunch of these guys I do want to get (Never was the completesist back in the G1 days) so this will be a first. (Still need a black Convoy for my CR/RID set)
