Does anyone remember CONSTRUX?

They were like building blocks of the future. You could make pretty much anything with all the pieces. I used to construct huge robots out of these things and line up my M.U.S.C.L.E. Men all over them when I was a kid. You could hide M.U.S.C.L.E. figures in the little compartments that you could make out of the CONSTRUX. My M.U.S.C.L.E. figures and CONSTRUX were linked. I'd always play with both at the same time usually.

I still have the robots all assembled and everything. I'll post a pic of my bots so everyone can see!

The name sounds familiar, but I can't remeber them. I have a shizznitload of Robotix though, including a MIB Bront that I had the pleasure of removing the 16 year old shrinkwrap from the check the contents. That was a blast from the past.

Here's a pic of the first robot I made out of Construx. It's simple, no panels or coverings, but yet a cool design!

Here's a pic of my second robot and most favorite! It is the shiznit. It is the combination of two or more CONSTRUX Sets. I made modifications to this guy, adding all sorts or extra parts to make it better and more complex.

Cool huh!

Construx played well with most 3 3/4 lines as well. We created a couple of Gi Joe vehicles when i was a kid. Some of the sets came with Alien and Astronaut figures too. Sold them long ago.

Construx played well with most 3 3/4 lines as well. We created a couple of Gi Joe vehicles when i was a kid. Some of the sets came with Alien and Astronaut figures too. Sold them long ago.

Yeah, I used to play with G.I. Joes and CONSTRUX together also. You could make some pretty cool vehicles for G.I. Joes with CONSTRUX, like you said. The memories.....

Oh, yeah... I always used them ALL to build one gigantic robot, and then make him "blow up" somehow. it kept breaking construx, thougyh... remember the little construction worker guy who came with it? I had one of him in yellow.
